I've had the same thing happen, it's not like you can Google a rhythm that you remember in your head. Sometimes even trying to hum or sing it to another person out loud just doesn't convey it, bc it's so hard to get a song rhythm across. Unless you're a musician and you are able to recreate it for someone who happens to know that rhythm when they hear it, you're SOL. That or by freak accident you come across it again.
