    Those plastic skids are way nicer then the metal ones. When machine need new skids I always install the plastic ones. They last longer then steal and they won't leave rust marks on your concrete floor and don't scratch your drivway

      @AveRage_Joe  Год назад +1

      Interesting! I was thinking they wouldnt last as long🤔

  • @ejonesss

    since it is a large machine it means that they have to ship freight witch allows for larger batteries and maybe even fully charged batteries.
    or since the way that the battery is packed it would not be so easy to damage to the point of starting fires.

      Its possible but I have always heard they shouldnt be full charged🤷‍♂️

    What people fail to realize where I live with electric blowers is not everyone gets snow like we do. Electric are good for homeowners with smaller driveways even where I live but are probably great for people who only need it a few times per year. Just like electric cars, they're not for everyone but they are perfect for the plenty of people that never leave more than 30 mile radius from their house for years on end.

    • @AveRage_Joe
      @AveRage_Joe  Год назад +1

      Yeah I could 100% say they are not for everyone. How much snow do you get roughly. We usually get an ok amount by this time but this season, not so much🤷‍♂️

      @@AveRage_Joe we have had 15 snow falls since Nov. 27" alone in Dec, probably 10" here in Jan. A few years ago we got 102" just in February

    • @volvo09
      @volvo09 Год назад

      You fill it through the yellow cap, drain it through the metal tube between the engine and right tire.

    • @AveRage_Joe
      @AveRage_Joe  Год назад

      Yeah there is a lil dipstick on the lower one as well. I guess you wouldnt fill in the lower since the upper is.....easy😆 Also like volvo09 said, drain is down lower!🤘

  • @hmarc417

    To keep your snow from sticking in the blower during usage, while there still new and undurty polish the sht out of them both with the turtle. Most anything else will ware off faster with snow abrasion. The Turtle usually lasts the longest. I usually give mine a few waxes during the summer while its hot like a car surface, and it works fine when winter comes on. Yes it take a few now, but take the few now, instead of taking lots when you really don't want to and your fingers are freezing off and the snow is caked in so tight you have to use a tool other the the one they provide..
    Example: silicone spray will leave the min. you hit the snow. And do not fret your snow is on its way.
    After these messages we'll be right back. CCHHEERRSSSSS

    When you get some snow, you need to use, as a control, that old fat mid-60s neighbor with the shovel , shaking his head at your machines. How fast is he compared to these machines. I'm that guy in my hood. I have a 48" snowblower for my lawn tractor, but it's easier to shovel, IMO.

    • @AveRage_Joe
      @AveRage_Joe  Год назад

      Lol If I can find another using a shovel I will!😆 I shovel up next the the garage door but thats all my back will let me do🙃OOOO a tracktor attachment? That would be FUN!

    I've never seen so much plastic on a snow blower that operates in extreme cold weather, when you get to the end of your drive way that should be about the time you will be walking back to get the 2nd over priced battery so that you can get this hunk of junk back to the garage or shop. You will still be snowed in but that should give you enough time to research the Honda Hydrostatic snow blowers made for real men and woman who know better to do it right the first time! Battery operated snow blower must have been invented by the same idiot who invented the gas can with no air vent!
