I agree with most of your opinions but i believe Snivy should’ve been higher for two reasons, 1. Contrary serperior is decent in competitive, especially with the new stellar terra type and 2 he is a little snek boi. Where is the flaw in my logic?
I want a sequel where they go to each person that made these lists and interview them to justify their choices. I don't care if that video is 10 hours long, I will watch it.

Let's just be honest. Snivy without Contrary is kinda miserable to use, and that ability wasn't available to them in the games where it's a starter choice. Even the most hardcore Snivy fans of the time knew they were just picking a cool looking Chikorita.

SoulSilver was my first Pokemon game, so I could go on for 20 minutes on why it and HeartGold are the best in the series (read: Bug Catching Contest, Pokeathlon, Safari Zone, Battle Frontier, National Pokedex, etc.)
I think I would probably relate most to Void, because the only Pokemon games I technically played are Firered, Pearl, X, Moon, Ultra Moon, Alpha Sapphire, Shield, Shining Pearl, Legends Arceus and Violet. And of those titles, I've only *barely* started playing Shining Pearl, Legends Arceus, and Violet. And I've never seen any Pokemon shows or movies released after Gen 4. So I would be putting most of the gym leaders in the "Who is this?" Tier and most of the games in the "Didn't play" Tier, and a few games in the "Played less than 3 Hours" Tier.
Mainline games tier list 2 is just perplexing 😭 Diamond/Pearl above Platinum? Gen 1 above gens 4, 7 and 9??? Are the ones in F just ones they haven't played or do they really hate all of them that much????? I am baffled
Remember, Contrary wasn't available to the Snivy line during the only games they've been a starter choice in. It was just a faster version of Chikorita's line at the time. They may be good Pokémon now but they've always been objectively bad whenever they're an actual starter Pokémon.

Gen 2 had a fairly expansive endgame with a return to Kanto after going through the new Johto area. Gen 3 had a fairly weak endgame until Emerald (I think it was pretty much one small island town and the Regis for endgame). ORAS felt like it really expanded on everything that R/S did, added in the popular Mega Evolutions, and had a large final act for its endgame.
@@Vrathal Maybe that's what it was like locally for you, but more broadly gen 3 is known as the golden age for a big amount of Pokemon fans, especially those that started at gen 1 as it was released.
I'd have rather gotten Z instead of ORAS if we were only gonna have one of those. Thank goodness they're finally fixing that mistake in some form. Seriously, Gen 6 gave too much attention to the wrong green serpent. Zygarde was robbed.
