3 years ago, my mom was feeling really depressed, and I saw this video and wanted to show it to her. She still remembers it and I want to cry every time I watch it.
I remember how these animations inspired me so much during 2016. I wanted to an animator and these animations not only inspired me, but introduced me into the world of animation memes, the art community, fandoms, and pretty much what I now enjoy on the internet today. Even though I don't do animation, I do art and I'm happy to rewatch the animations that helped me. Especially this video since I was going through a hard time when I watched these. It made me feel less alone and happy when I had tough days. I always hope that Ava knows that her work will always be recognize for the true beauty it is.

I remember about three years ago, I first learned what youtube was. This was one of the first animations I watched. This video lead me to learn about undertale and fnaf, both which play a big role in my life to this day. This video is something from, not so much a simpler time, but more of a time of great change. The reason why I didn’t know what youtube was for many years was because I was living with my grandparents, but they weren't the best people and were thankfully arrested. After their arrest I started living with my biological mom that I only knew for about three or four years. My grandparents took me from her when I was about two years old, and I didn't live with her for eight years. My grandparents were very religious, to the point where it was cultish and insane. They made me think crazy things, like that if I watched certain movies demons would collect my soul or something like that. When my mom finally got me back, she basically had to reprogram me to be a slightly more normal person. When she taught me about the Internet, I was amazed! I thought there were only websites like Facebook, PBS kids, Internet Explorer, and other stuff like that. I didn't know that there was so much online when I lived with my grandparents. This video has become one of my comfort videos, and I watch it whenever I start feeling scared like i did when i first came home. The wave of nostalgia I felt watching this was what I needed during this scary time. Especially with what is happening in the outside world. I've grown more and more scared with each passing day. Scared for my rights, my safety, my family's safety, and so, so much more that I wish I didn’t have to worry about. Thank you so much, for unknowingly helping me discover sanity, make friends, find love, and make people I've never met happy like you made me and currently eight million five hundred ninety thousand seven hundred and twenty-one others happy. I remember about three years ago, I first learned what youtube was. This was one of the first animations I watched. This video lead me to learn about undertale and fnaf, both which play a big role in my life to this day. This video is something from, not so much a simpler time, but more of a time of great change. The reason why I didn’t know what youtube was for many years was because I was living with my grandparents, but they weren't the best people and were thankfully arrested. After their arrest I started living with my biological mom that I only knew for about three or four years. My grandparents took me from her when I was about two years old, and I didn't live with her for eight years. My grandparents were very religious, to the point where it was cultish and insane. They made me think crazy things, like that if I watched certain movies demons would collect my soul or something like that. When my mom finally got me back, she basically had to reprogram me to be a slightly more normal person. When she taught me about the Internet, I was amazed! I thought there were only websites like Facebook, PBS kids, Internet Explorer, and other stuff like that. I didn't know that there was so much online when I lived with my grandparents.
This video has become one of my comfort videos, and I watch it whenever I start feeling scared like i did when i first came home. The wave of nostalgia I felt watching this was what I needed during this scary time. Especially with what is happening in the outside world. I've grown more and more scared with each passing day. Scared for my rights, my safety, my family's safety, and so, so much more that I wish I didn’t have to worry about. Thank you so much, for unknowingly helping me discover sanity, make friends, find love, and make people I've never met happy like you made me and currently eight million five hundred ninety thousand seven hundred and twenty-one others happy. Thank you so much.
