It's just a poorly edited AMV I made in high school, but it has undeniably resonated (haha) with so many people. Maka stopping fighting and walking over to hug Crona is one of the sweetest scenes in anime, tbh. Recognizing when someone else is gripped by fear and insecurity, and choosing to show them love and understanding, even as they lash out at you, is an act of incredible strength and compassion.

Watched this before the anime, and damn, this AMV really made me like Crona, I don't care about them as much in the actual anime, but they're still my favourite character just because of this amv. Their fighting style is amazing, one of my favourite parts is at 1:46 where they send 1 sideways blood slash that looked really weak and slow, but then they suddenly look serious at 1:51 and do a downward slash that at first is solid but then becomes liquid, which they then use to summon blood spikes from the ground. Honestly they look really cool when fighting.

Can relate with Crona. My father was a narcissist, toxic, and very controlling. Love was frequently withheld for not following his wishes. Talking to him was like walking on eggshells, afraid of saying the wrong thing. Had to go no contact in the end. He passed a few months after that. I feel bad for not feeling as upset as I should have been. Suffer from anxiety and depression. My friend knows this and still sticks by me. (almost 15 years now) Remember watching this anime years ago and had to pause it because I was too emotional.

I would be great, there was certainly a lot of set up that could still be developed, but the last few chapters were so meh that it's very unlikely to ever happen; I mean, the final battle was indefinitely postponed and the series ended on a boob joke :(. Plus even after they revealed that Spirit knew the hostesses were spies from the start, they never did anything with him, or Maka's dubious mother. Heck, I'd even settle for More Soul Eater Not.
