One of the best, if not the best, rug cleaning video on RUclips. The process is thorough, transparent, and effective. Plus the narration is focused, coherent, and on point. Great production!
Aaron Rice DO IT!!! Embark into social media, and learning to survive that, HIRE AND SPEND THE MONEY ON PROFESSIONAL HELP!!! Be clear and concise and AUTHENTIC no gimmicks needed! BLESSINGS!!!
Not only it looks different but also its much lighter than before. my mother does every year at March or end of February. But we don't walk over it by shoes. That is our culture.
This rug was around during the sixties, so it might have even seen its fair share of sex parties. So you could probably clone a small village of people with the skin cells contained in this sex rug.
Amazing work. what a great company to own. I was fixated watching this processes it's not everyday we have our rugs cleaned in fact it's rare. Nobody cares to clean stuff, it's all re bought so often. I don't know how you stay in business. But I love what you do🙏
Tell you what Im mpressed! And id say a great way of cleaning/restoring that old rug. Your tool kit is good also what a good idea to use compressed air etc That was a whole ton of dirt that came out of it. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing with us
My family's business is centered around pressure washers. So, I clean my rugs by like you would the floormats in your car. Those clips on the car wash wall are convenient. Put dripping wet rugs in a laundry basket for transport. My kitchen rug gets a carwash type bath at least twice a year, wool rugs as needed. They look brand new afterwards. Large rugs get pressure washed in the driveway. Edit: I think I'm imagining cleaning your old rug. You'll need to vacuum it three times (flipping it) before spot treatment. ...ˢᶦᵍʰ
Wow! I had no idea of the process necessary to clean an antique carpet. All of it makes such perfect sense. Have to say, once the carpet was cleaned you could appreciate its richness and craftmanship in the work that was taken to make such a wonderful piece of art. Thanks for sharing your methods to make something yet again beautiful. Cheers, Darryl
Very cool dust/dirt removal ideas, but I assume the rug was tested for colorfastness before wetting/washing. I once tried to remove a fresh dog-urine stain from mine by quickly dipping the soiled area in the bath tub (trying to dilute and remove the urine before it set) and my cherished rug with its colorful design bled all over wherever the water (not the pee, the water) touched it, effectively ruining the rug. DO NOT try washing your rug until you are sure the dyes are colorfast!
Satisfy Life that's only partly true, you can use some acids to reduce colour runs, but some will still run especially light blues and some reds. And if it's wet for very long no chemicals will stop the running
Actually, as someone who has worked in a carpet store which held a cleaning service, I can tell you that workers put separate shoes on when they walk into the cleaning area which are cleaned every week. They are very clean and are trained how to walk without wearing it out.
Very interesting & informative. At first with the jiggly camera I thought amateurish but I warmed up to the host narrator. A pleasure to watch my favorite part was the second dust removal by vibration as opposed to simple vacuuming. Also he speaks with honest amazement about how much fine dirt is removed even though it’s his avocation
Best professional rug cleaning video I’ve seen!!! The rest of d videos here just show d rugs being hosed down and scrubbed to death with brushes. Poor rugs!!!
I am so glad I stumbled on this. I have a huge, heavy, beautiful, antique wool rug in the living room, that I was planning on just giving away, because it was looking old and worn out. Instead I'm going to look for a rug cleaner such as this. The carpet that was cleaned in the video, looked so vibrantn and watching the colors return to life was just amazing.
Well there are a lot of people moaning about this video, but as an owner of several Persian rugs I found it fascinating. I’ve never seen technology like this, and to see a beautiful rug brought back to life was very satisfying. It’s no wonder there are rugs piled up waiting to be cleaned, this guy is passionate about his work, so good luck and thanks for sharing.
Watching this video is like therapy after a stressful day. I would literally pay money to work that compressed air machine, for the satisfaction of blasting the dirt away and seeing the brilliant colors emerge! I have three teenagers and nothing I do on a daily basis gives me that kind of immediate satisfaction! Love them dearly, but it's a long game.!
What is also impressive is your large broom that swept over once the dirt without having missed streaks....love it. Several months ago I tried to clean a long rug...didn't realize that the backing came apart....clogged the front loader....ooppss! Awesome color!
No one in those areas using this system. However I can recommend Masters Cleaners in Santa Rosa or if you want a day trip Prestige Fabric care in Fresno
This is cool, back in 90s I had a hexagon rug from Turkey my x brought back from over seas when he was in navy , I took it to the car wash and power washed it and it shredded 🤣😂
Great job! Very interesting process. I appreciate the way you explained every step without being wordy and animated. Strictly business! I can also tell from your body language at the end that you enjoy what you do and are very proud of your work! God bless you and your employees! In Jesus'name!
Amazing results. I wonder if 9 years later have made a difference in the technology used? The most impressive part was the use of the compressed air! WOW, looks like everything came out with that one!
Oh dear. I even saved this, so I could watch it again some day. What have I become? I'm sending all my rugs out, now that I know how dirty they must be. Yipes.
I usually throw mine over a cable stretched between two buildings and beat it with a 2x4 for a while. Then I vacuum it again with my Kirby before I take it to the laundromat and chuck it into one of those huge washers. I've been doing it for years and the rug still looks good.
I think it’s due to the age and wear of the rug, on the back you could see colours come through when they did the compressed air part because the colours weren’t as damaged as they were on the front. There is visible improvement but the rug needs a lot more than just thorough cleaning.
Nice...I would almost be happy with just the mechanical beating and compressed air treatement. Lots of dead granny skin in there. Curious what is the cost of the procedure that you did?
My man Randall on the high power dusting machine making a dent in the world.
I think she is with Randall now. You snooze you lose pal. Lol

I'm glad you refurbished this rug, it really ties a room together.
Well thats just, like, your opinion, man
I wanted to see a side by side before and after
splibb not that much difference
Screenshot it from the beginning of the video then screenshot at the end of the video there's a huge difference
Not only it looks different but also its much lighter than before. my mother does every year at March or end of February.
But we don't walk over it by shoes. That is our culture.
The side by side comparison would actually show the progress if you showed me the after rug first I would have thought it needed to be cleaned

clean the rug

@@Tyler-zw4kq Me neither.
Can anyone explain this joke?
You must be one with the rug
😆😆😆
LOL ..
after so much care the rug will refuse to go back home.. LOL
i was cringing as he had his shoe on the clean rug
fadoua oubaid exactly! You don't walk on antique rugs with shoes!
I thought the same thing!! Shoes off the clean rug!!
I literally blurted out "get your f&@cking shoe off the damn rug"
fadoua oubaid oh ik!
fadoua oubaid it's going back on the floor again, you know.
am I 27 or 72? why am I so interested in this... the only rug I currently own is a faux fur sheep skin...
This is somewhat satisfying to watch
Save the Rhino Agreed!
Save the Rhino I agree
SO satisfying! Especially when the compressed air blasts away dirt with each pass, exposing the underlying bright red color of the rug.
100 years of dead skin cells
Imagine the number of people they could clone from all those cells 🤣

I’m at the point in life where I’ve went to rug cleaning for entertainment SMH 🤦♂️
Lol, trying to make myself satisfied by watching carpet cleaning
@Honeysuckle Blossom We cleaned our own rugs and complained about them not being clean. Now we know why. It's not my fault I don't have a rug duster!
Lmao. Me to
This seems like the most satisfying job ever.... where can I sign up?
Wow, amazing how much work it takes to properly clean a rug. It's also amazing the amounts people pay to purchase high quality but VERY old rugs.

I must say, this was just fascinating. It must be very satisfying to reclaim an old, dirty rug. Thanks.
... for whatever reason I loved that dude sweeping the dirt from that machine... that was some damn fine sweeping lol
So satisfying! I wanna quit my job and clean rugs now

What a GREAT DEMONSTRATION. Did a very good job of showing how "cleaning an area rug" is very meticulous.
Thanks
I enjoyed that a bizarrely huge amount. 😀
I always turned rugs over and hoovered the back. The amount of grit and dirt that fell out was amazing.
Watching them clean the “dirt line” with the compressed air was so rewarding 😂
This is hands down the most interesting video that has ever popped up on my recommendations

Unexpectedly satisfying to watch..
What a beautiful rug! It was pretty, already, when you started, but after this whole cleaning process? Stunning! Wonderful work!
I have just come into possession of a 9 x12 Persian carpet, age unknown but not new, and I found this vid fascinating.

cathytai they use special mixtures to clean them so the colour doesn't bleed
Satisfy Life that's only partly true, you can use some acids to reduce colour runs, but some will still run especially light blues and some reds. And if it's wet for very long no chemicals will stop the running
What kind of rug is that
This is a Persian rug with traditional dyes. They know how those behave ^^
Amazing! I can see that you’ve made a serious investment in the best equipment.
So clean it and then put your damn feet on it. Lol smh.
Actually, as someone who has worked in a carpet store which held a cleaning service, I can tell you that workers put separate shoes on when they walk into the cleaning area which are cleaned every week. They are very clean and are trained how to walk without wearing it out.

I usually throw mine over a cable stretched between two buildings and beat it with a 2x4 for a while. Then I vacuum it again with my Kirby before I take it to the laundromat and chuck it into one of those huge washers. I've been doing it for years and the rug still looks good.
the rug didn't really look all that different in the end in my opinion.
yes agree...thought it was a joke and that they'd cut to the clean rug.
Sam LSD stop being an ass, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I think it’s due to the age and wear of the rug, on the back you could see colours come through when they did the compressed air part because the colours weren’t as damaged as they were on the front.
There is visible improvement but the rug needs a lot more than just thorough cleaning.
It looked better after the second dusting, before the wash
Nice...I would almost be happy with just the mechanical beating and compressed air treatement. Lots of dead granny skin in there. Curious what is the cost of the procedure that you did?
he put his dirty shoe on it after it was cleaned so technically he gave his client a semi clean rug, lol.

Man: Here we are at the next day with the finished product. She's just a beauty.
Me: Did you just assume the carpet's gender?
Greens Man maybe he asked the rug’s gender preference before the video began. He is a rug whisperer after all.
Well he is going to LAY it.
Absolutely brilliant work👏👏👏
I about had a aneurysm when he put his foot on the rug
