Unfortunately, they require you to give them your smartphone number for "security." Let me tell you something, e-mail based MFA is secure enough. There is no good reason for them to REQUIRE your phone number. Offering you the option, sure. Requiring it... no. Every time you hand out your smartphone number is another distribution point to an attack surface. And the fact that you probably don't know what that means is exactly why you should not give it out to sites that say it's required for security. Your bank doesn't need your smartphone number. Neither does some unvetted AI shop. Sorry to be that guy, but I've said my piece. Carry on. And thanks for all your great videos.
