Millenial here. I had a little brother and a Silent Generation Single Child Adoptive mother... She thought once that we could "work out" our sibling rivalry... She let us go all out against each other... She thought it would only last an hour at most. 3 hours later she finally put a stop to it when it was clear we wouldn't stop.
