Near death experiences and out of body experiences are just the dying brain going haywire which causes hallucinations which manifesto as near death experiences or out of body experiences. As brain cells start to die these start firing randomly, kind of a last gasp. It is the final surge in brain activity as the brain is trying to survive for as long as it can after the heart has stopped, it is sort of a survival technique when the brain is under extreme stress or crisis. That is why it feels like a person is floating above the body as the brain is dying because it helps the brain cope with the most traumatic time of it's life. It is fighting for it's life. 'Brain doesn't die with human body' Researchers reveal that humans may not be brain-dead right after they are declared dead as the brain may live on for a short period of time even after the heart stops. Scientists observed a boost in brain activity in dying patients, which could potentially help demystify mysterious near-death experiences. Researchers observed an increase in brain activity in dying patients in a recent study published last month. It's one of the few occasions when scientists have had the chance to observe human brain activity just before and just after "death," Business Insider reported. According to the researchers, it might provide some insight into the strange occurrences that so many people describe during a near-death experience, such as leaving the body, hovering above it, or seeing flashes of their past lives before their eyes. "Near-death experiences challenge our fundamental understanding of the dying brain," the researchers reported in the study. Hence, such research is essential for developing a clearer understanding of what people perceive just before they die. As part of the study, four participants who were comatose and on life support had their families' consent to remove them from it. Electroencephalogram sensors monitored the patients' brain activity when they entered cardiac arrest at this moment. According to Smithsonian Magazine, the researchers discovered that two out of four of the dying patients exhibited a surge of gamma waves - the brain activity linked to lucid dreams and hallucinations - long after their hearts had stopped. The results revealed that people may retain a level of consciousness that can lead to dream-like experiences, Vice reported."The discovery of the marked and organised gamma activities in the dying brain suggests that a near-death experience is the product of the dying brain, which is activated at death," the lead author of the study, Jimo Borjigin, told Vice."As far as I am concerned, our study may be as good as it will ever get for finding neural signatures of near-death consciousness," Borjigin added. "The only thing better than this is to have the patients survive to tell the tale that correlates with the detected neural signatures," he continued. Furthermore, Borjigin aims to collect more data on dying human brains to better understand the death experience. Life after death? Scientist says experiences 'incredibly real' as 'brain goes haywire' LIFE after death investigators often cite reports of out-of-body experiences (OBEs) as evidence of the afterlife - and while these profound experiences are "incredibly real," a cognitive neuroscientist has told Express.co.uk they are nothing more than the "brain going haywire". Out-of-body experiences are a fairly common phenomenon with an estimated 10 percent of people experiencing them at least once in their life. The OBEs can be triggered by a wide array of factors - from brain tumours to epilepsy - but are often associated with so-called near-death experiences, or NDEs. Cardiac arrest patients, in particular, frequently recall a sensation of floating outside of their bodies or even looking down at their hospital beds from the ceiling. One woman who temporarily died as a child believes her spirit escaped her body before being sucked right back in. A similar account was shared by a man who claimed to have left his body after suffering a near-fatal heart attack. For many people, these experiences are deeply profound and serve to inform their beliefs in God, the afterlife and give them some sort of "meaning in life". Scientists are, however, unconvinced about the spiritual aspect of OBEs and instead point to a growing body of evidence that might explain what is going on in the brain during these phenomena. Dr Jane Aspell, a cognitive neuroscientist at Anglia Ruskin University, has been experimenting with OBEs through the use of virtual reality headsets to better understand how the brain creates an identity of the "self".And the technology could even have medical applications by helping people who suffer, for example, from dissociating disorders or painful conditions like fibromyalgia. But are OBEs evidence of the soul escaping the body in a moment of trauma? Most likely not. Dr Aspell said: "They're incredibly real and they seem very real to the person having them. They have this very strong experience. "It seems as though their 'self', or their consciousness, or their soul, or their spirit - whatever they want to call it - seems to be separate from their body. "And that, naturally, can lead people to conclude, 'Okay, that must mean I have a soul or my mind or my consciousness isn't tied to my body.' "And when it occurs in the context of potentially dying, I think it's not surprising that that conclusion is led to." The brain is a very "plastic" instrument and under the right conditions, the expert said it can be easily confused. What really happens during OBEs such as the ones described by patients floating above their bodies, is that the brain creates very vivid hallucinations. If a person is asked to draw a picture of their bedroom from their memory, chances are they will draw a fairly accurate representation of the room and the items within, provided they have enough time to properly think about the task. That is essentially what is happening during an OBE but spontaneously and without notice. Consequently, the hallucinations created by the brain are usually inaccurate and lacking in information. Studies have been carried out in emergency rooms where people who have experienced OBEs were asked to describe their surroundings. The patients were not told about objects hidden away high up and out of reach and the items did not appear in their testimonies, proving patients never floated up to the ceiling but rather the experience unfolded entirely in the brain. Scientists still don't know exactly why this happens but the evidence is clear - it is a matter of some disturbance in the brain and OBEs can happen to just about anyone. Dr Aspell said: "We don't know the details of how the brain does that but it certainly seems like it's a hallucination. "And some people think that an out-of-body experience is evidence the consciousness can survive outside of the body or can separate from the body. "But there's certainly a more credible explanation that it's the brain going a bit haywire and you're having a hallucination. "People have tried but they never have been able to give any evidence that it is the case consciousness can survive or exist outside of the body." Dr Aspell has been experimenting with inducing a type of OBE in volunteers using virtual reality headsets. The volunteers were asked to don a headset showing them a video stream from a webcam positioned directly behind them. When they were tapped on the back, they would see themselves being tapped and feel as if they were no longer in their own body. Dr Aspell said: "You feel as though you are in the body in front of you." The technique, she believes, could have applications in reducing chronic pain or in helping people suffering from intense trauma.

Recent story from Haryana India ...on news 2, or 3 years back ... The boy 10:year old told his story of incarnation... amazing he said. He was 12 days in his house after the death then he wandered and travelled with other spirits and finally after 10 years he was reborn nearby village ...what is important is his 12 days of stay in his house what Hindus post death rituals tells us... Also the ancient Roman and Greek seen in movie troy ..12 days rituals... amazing...so Hindu rituals are time tested and not mythology...so the science of reincarnation is true....the story of the boy in news is available on RUclips...do check

There is life after death, there is the spiritual life the Human Spirit is immortal, after physical death the Human Soul or Spirit part (flies) to eternal life, but never returns to this world and have another terrestrial body, for that reason reincarnation does not exist.
If reincarnation is really true, then sons of guru gobind singh, his father and guru arjan dev are responsible for their own deaths. Mughal emperors are Innocent of their deaths. Their own karma in previous lives caused them to die such horrible way. Now don't blame any mughal emperor.

Hinduism had Sages, who spent 100% time just living bare minimal outside soceity just to find more knowledge. They prayed for more longevity just to get more knowledge from Devine. They spread it around. Which Knowledge? Astronomy, mathematics, cosmology, astrophysics, astrology, medicine, economy, body anatomy, how to run kingdom to war tactics. No prophets. That was thousands years ago. Now yogis( Swami Yoganand, swami rama, swami Vivekananda, Maa anadi bai, etc both male and female dedicated spiritually and lived spreading what they self realised. It's never about religion, its always about how to attain self realization and moksha means no more rebirth. Latest is Budha, he was a hindu, had self realization n travelled preaching and unfortunately it's been called as different religion but it's all knowledge of Ancient Santana dharma, means ancient way of living which is being called as Hinduism by westernization word. A lesser but modified version is Sadguru if you consider him as a mystic. There are people like Shirdi Saibaba who lived 100 years ago, mata Anandamayi, Ramakrishna parama hama etc who lived in 1800 -1900. They're all called Swami, Guru, yogi. Basically means the one who had self realization. Means acquired spiritual knowledge by self, not from a teacher or a book. Theyve had epiphany like budha. They lived simple life, one meal a day, just barely clothed, wandered without anything until thier followers built a place for them so many people can get benefits of such enlightentened people. Apart from that, still people leave home in search of truth of life, spiritual knowledge and spend whole life wandering without anything. They ask food around and wear orange cloths with water por and a stick do they can walk. They mostly go north Himalaya in search of gurus who can guide them, some find real gurus but some doesn't. Some get disillusioned n return home after some time, months or years n live normal life. Some choose to stay in Himalayas n live doing meditation and focus on Devine. They leave earth like that, some get advanced powers like they can change bodies as they wish(so they can keep practicing), some can leave body easily and come back as they wish etc.these people don't have followers, they act like fools of anyone try to became a student because they're not interested in materialistic life. There are many sects, one sect called aghori, a skilled one can turn any object into thier desired object. They still live like beggars, they dont want anything other than spiritual growth and ascension. Even if you meet the real deal Aghori they may act like lunatic just to make you feel scared/disgusted ao u can leave them alone. They are very powerful but they don't ise that power to do anything. No materialistic desires. So no prophets. Problem is, many frauds claim themself as enlightened ones and ruin the name of hinduism. That's that story. If interested read Autobiography of a Yogi.
Reincarnation and Karma has left us with lot of unanswered questions. If everyone is a reincarnation from a previous life why is the world population increasing and not decreasing? If there are new souls and not reincarnated ones, where do they come from? And of course very importantly; where did the first person come from - he or she could not have been reincarnated? Since each soul should be progressively purified of evil through their many reincarnations why isn't the world becoming a better place to live in? Do you know India the birth place of Reincarnation, Why is there so much human misery in India where karma and reincarnation have been accepted for centuries? Do you know what went wrong in your last reincarnation so that you have been reincarnated again this time? If you can choose your path relatively then How come the karmic law works without moral absolutes? If you don't know why you have been reincarnated, then how would you fix it without knowing the problem? Do you know how much your karmic debt you owe to God? If good and evil are same then what is the meaning of karma? Do you think your so called good (as per your definition) works is increasing the debt or decreasing debt? If animals have a soul, Can you observe a behavioural difference between two rats based on moral laws? Reincarnation is illogical because animals cannot reason. So it doesn’t know anything about salvation. From a strictly logical viewpoint, since no one has ever died and come back to life (except our Lord, Jesus Christ) there is no empirical proof of the claims of those who say they have been reincarnated into this day and age. There has never, ever, been any credible testable evidence to support the many claims being made about reincarnation, and the supposedly ‘scientific evidence’ which occasionally pops up purporting to support the belief, is inevitably flawed in either or both its methodology or conclusion. It’s pseudo-science purporting to support and unsupportable belief!
I suggest you read bhagavadgita in english bro..most of your questions will be answered there..dont worry i have read passages from bible too...knowledge can be taken from anywhere..!!!
Every living thing is a soul not just humans lol even bacterias plants micro organisations so as there are countless amount of microorganisms and since they are here on earth even before we evolved from apes,so they are getting constantly reincarnated + other organism to humans that's why population is increasing.... REINCARNATION IS REAL but I'm not sure about Karma tho..there r no proofs about karma..so karma could be fake but believing karma is a good thing as it makes us better people u don't need so ignorant also first organisms arrived here in the universe by the conversion of energy in the universe which then converts to soul energy then gets converted to matter by the phenomenon of big bang and Einstein's equation E=Mc2 So reincarnation is real there r a lot and imran a lot of evidences even u can search neuroscientist dr even Alexander a freaking scientist saying reincarnation is real..also university of virginia is a big big proof of reincarnation but, not sure about Karma tho..! U don't know anything about science as psychologists and neuroscientists have said that reincarnation is real
First clear your concept. Even microorganisms and plants have sou. So it's interchangeable. Plants and microorganisms vanished and humans are increasing. Every living things have soul. For more information you can read "Bhagwad Geeta".
There is no such thing as individual soul, Brahman is the source of all life, you are in human body now because you have gathered a lot of it in many lifetimes, when you reach Moksha your soul (which is now kept together because of your karma) disperse / so it’s no longer individual soul it merges with Brahman, we are not all separate beings we are all one life which can take and fill many forms. This is like throwing a rock into an ocean, there will be water drops in the air for few seconds, at that time water will be separate for that short period of time, but it will eventually come back to its original source which is the ocean. So think of life and souls as ocean, one thing. Separateness is only an illusion

I wish you people could understand the concept of jins which is misunderstood as reincarnation
Iqra, Jins are not physical beings as per Islamic stories, they are spirit and have magical powers, reincarnation means people are reborn s human beings with human limitations so they can continue their spiritual progress and move towards discovering who they are and what the world is about, so there is no relation between Jins and reincarnation, only thing we can say is Most people are in spirit form between death and new rebirth and they may become Jins in the in between period but once their minds are calmed they get reborn. Does Hinduism have prophets?
Not really.
Think of it as throwing a dice and it happened to hit a Six.
Apart from genetics memory got etched just by a coincidence.
Explain how is population increasing if reincarnation is real?
Its simple! The souls that were in the astral plane are getting new births.
Belief does not need proof. And we do not actually need belief here
NO OFFEND .... because ye budau court me ye bolta to case radh ho jata......bole apna hi claim thok rha hai
REINCARNATION IS REAL
but I'm not sure about Karma tho..there r no proofs about karma..so karma could be fake but believing karma is a good thing as it makes us better people u don't need so ignorant also first organisms arrived here in the universe by the conversion of energy in the universe which then converts to soul energy then gets converted to matter by the phenomenon of big bang and Einstein's equation E=Mc2
So reincarnation is real there r a lot and imran a lot of evidences even u can search neuroscientist dr even Alexander a freaking scientist saying reincarnation is real..also university of virginia is a big big proof of reincarnation but, not sure about Karma tho..!

I would have asked this professor one question - what is the evidence?
He'd says children said so.
Me - How do you know they are telling the truth?
Him- They're children why would they lie?
Me- Children have been known to make up stories. Those children are good at imagining stuff. How does it prove reincarnation?
Him- But the scientists.
Me- People have biases. Just because someone is a scientist doesn't mean their methods of testing aren't flawed. Without material evidence these are just good stories. That's it.
