Oh my gosh it’s so lovely to hear someone talk about l’occitane- my husband is French and from the south; Where this brand originated- we love every product ! As always Nadine I love your content 🙂 Stay safe
Added the silicone scar tape to my Amazon cart after you mentioned it. I have a pretty sizable scar on my tricep area from a removal with the dermatologist. Thank you so much 💛🤗
I really didn’t like the cerave sa cream too thick and heavy to get into bed with. But I LOVE the sa cleanser! I use it on my body with exfoliating gloves twice a week and my skin is soooo soft. I also use it on my face twice a week instead of using a face scrub now. It has transformed my aging dry skin 💕
Just the video I needed! Tomorrow i’m heading out to get my second covid jab and I wanted to look for a body cream whilst I was near a Superdrug/Boots. Now i know exactly what to buy. Thanks Nadine :)
You have such a gift at describing fragrances. You and Sali Hughes could sell ice to eskimos talking about smells. Loving the citrus meze and bergamot leather from Zara, bought on blind faith after your last video!
I’ve used the almond shower oil for years, addictive! Fyi you can also bring your recyclables from other brands too. They’ve also relaunched their verveine menthe which is beautiful if you like a hint of mint in your eau de toilette
Another trick for itchy bites ... wet a corner of a washcloth with **very** hot water, either the hottest from your tap or even hotter ... just short of scalding. Touch it to the bite ... it will make it itch even worse for a few seconds - then the itching will stop for several hours. Only do this for yourself, never for somebody else. It is a bit dangerous, but it's the best way to stop the itching from a bite that I know of. And Nadine is absolutely right ... the essential oil based insect confusers do not stop all bites, and should never be used where the critters may carry disease, or if you're in a place (like camping near a lake) where there are a lot of mosquitos. They are not repellants in the true sense of the word..
@@catnip4587 I share the joke ... and it does feel like you're causing damage! But in all my years of using this method (since the mid 1990s), I have never hurt myself. It's not for the faint of heart.
Great video as always....I love L'occitane products, I have a lot of the Verbena range too..the mens Cedrat fragrance is lovely. We are moving to Italy in a couple of weeks so thank you for the mosquito advice...will go and order a few bottles to take xx
I actually never tried anything from them but I always wanted to! I’m so intrigued by their almond milk line for dry skin! I live in a very small but extremely beautiful town in Slovenia by the coast and we have a cute little L’Occitane store on one of the city’s old streets, which always smells really nice whenever I pass by it, but I never enter because I know their stuff is quite expensive. I’m currently using the Bioderma shower oil and intensive baume by your recommendation and my rashes has stopped completely! I’m impressed. I know L’Occitane has a shower oil as well which is very popular. I would really want to try that one out one day too. :) Thank you for your videos, Nadine, sponsored or not, I always learn a ton. I really appreciate you. I’m just finishing school for aestheticians and I need all the extra knowledge I can get! xx
Drunk Elephant just released an AHA body lotion today. P.S. if you live in the States, we have Amlactin (12% lactic acid), Alpha Skincare (12% glycolic acid), or Glytone (17% glycolic acid) body lotions.
I wonder if that brush would help me reach the part of the middle of my back but I can’t with my fingers if I load it up with SPF when I’m at home alone. Just pondering this as the middle of my back got banned today and the rest of me didn’t because I was wearing SPF 50 out in the Sun for four hours
Love the Verveine eau de toilette and wear it every summer after falling in love with it in Seville a few years ago. Great to see you talking about other L’Occitane products 👍🏻😘
if you live in the States, we have Amlactin (12% lactic acid), Alpha Skincare (12% glycolic acid), or Glytone (17% glycolic acid) body lotions. Plenty of AHA body lotions products in the USA.
I love mosquito tip. But I was going to ask in your opinion can we also use real techniques Body kubuki or Gold one.?Elf one is always out of stock and hard to find in US.
Hey Nadine! Can you recommend anything to get rid of this weird lump thing that's left from a spot. It's a purple/red colour (still quite fresh) but it's really bothering me 😫 Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks 😊
All this time I thought the Amanda Harrington you speak of was the girl from Liverpool that was on the reality show Desperate Scousewives 😂. No offence to her but I thought “oo, no, I’m not buying anything she has stuck her name to” and thought it was odd that you were in the same circle. Only just realised it’s a different Amanda Harrington 🙈.
Hi Nadine. I have been told I have mild Actinic Keratosis from years of sun worshiping in my youth! I’m afraid the NHS dermatologists are not very helpful. I’ve had cryotherapy on a couple of marks which was ok , but after that they only gave me Cetraben cream to moisturise my skin twice a day. Can you recommend a body treatment or emollient please? I have bought the CeraVe SA cream which seems better but I want to know if you would recommend anything else please .
@@56annieb actually no. I loved my 25 yrs taking care of the elderly. My point is that lactic acid smells similar. Ammonia. Which is also what an adult brief full of urine smells like.

I think their products are so beautiful. A hint for mosquitoes, Spray Apple Cider Vinegar ( you can add water and ACV to a spray bottle ). 🙌🏻🍑Lisa

The almond oil range from Loccitane is just heavenly. I treat myself and my mom a couple of times a year during the Sephora sale !
If you’re in the US, Trader Joe’s has a dupe of the almond cleansing oil. It’s $2.99!
@@lchs2105 no, not in the US but I'm sure there are similar products where I live too, I should look into!
I love anything with verveine, so citrusy and fresh and summery!

Love locitane winter here now im allways wearing my ode beaux smells beautiful
Cover your mosquito bite with clear nail varnish will stop itch.
So helpful Nadine!! Love's ya 😍
Also all of their packaging has Braille on it.
The only problem with the Cereve SA cream is its really sticky and uncomfortable even a tiny thin layer.
I’ve used L’Occitane products for years, such a shame they’re going into mainland China. No more Shea butter hand cream for me…
Today I learned I have been mispronouncing L’Occitane my whole life.
Just adore you and you poor thing getting a bite and those scratches. Hoping you get better weather.
Your hair looks lovely😊
Same it melted my nail varnish love Avon spray the bedding with it works a treat xx

loccitane isn’t for me sadly as the test on animals. Such a shame as I used to love them.
Nadine have you reviewed any sunscreens for your body, not just face
I love the verbena perfume so much but it just doesn't last at all, such a shame as it is truly beautiful
L’occitane released two new versions of Verveine : Verveine Cactus and Verveine Agrumes , they are délicieux!

you look so lovely in this video xxx
Hi Nadine love the video, can l ask do you know of an alternative to the Dr Glycolic from Beautypie as not a member please x
The Body Shop cocoa butter stick moisturiser is amazing and more reasonably priced than L’Occitane 😁
Hi Nadine have you tried Medix retinol and ferulic acid? Really nice , has a mild perfume but doesn’t linger. Skin feels lovely after use 😀
Beauty Pie is of no use to anyone living outside the UK 😞
Plenty of stuff the Brits can’t get..it’s a British channel 🤷♀️

As soon as the wound is healed and the scabs have fallen off X
