I have recently been using Lacura day & night cream..I get it in Aldi for just $3.99 a jar. It's lovely! And Aveeno Calm & Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer is very nice ! I use that as well.
The Korean brand, 'I'm from' has a mugwort cream that is a gel-like texture and it's really great! I use it as my summer time moisturizer. It is under $30.
Please talk about retinol. Your last video is from three years ago!! please do an updated one about your favorite retinol and face products!! thanks. love your channel

I love moisture surge, I found it when I was on isotretinoin and it was better than any thick occlusive moisturiser to stop my peeling. Tried loads of others but always come back to it. Worth every penny in my opinion x
These all sound so good. I'm on a consumer testing panel for a gel-cream moisturiser that feels very similar to how you describe these. It's absolutely lovely, think it's due in April.
I’ve just switched from Elemis’ Pro Collagen Marine Cream to the Clinique 100 hour Moisture Surge as the former wasn’t working quite as well as it previously had for me. So far my just my-over-40-but-still-temperamental skin is loving it
The face theory gel cream is also fab! I finished the whole tube and it really worked with my normal to combi skin with a few break outs. Totally unfragranced and under £20 so definitely worth checking out.
The timing of this is perfect for me, I love Clinique Moisture Surge and am almost finished my pot, I'm looking for something comparable but at a slightly lower price point ❤
By Terry product sounds fab! Love the idea of an all in one as I find myself using x4 products in the morning - vit c, hyaluronic acid, face cream and spf in the morning and it get a bit much sometimes.. just wish it was CF or vegan and that would have done it for me :-) thx for such a great, informative video nadine!
Hi Nadine i wish I could lighten up to a gel cream, but I'll lighten up from a rich body cream to a face cream for the warmer months - I have severely dry skin. Even in the height of Summer I need a cream, although it is lighter weight than my Winter body cream for the face. If I do use a gel or gel cream I have to layer a cream on top, so I just use serums under the cream (also essence, oil etc). Best wishes.
It's not a gel cream, but I love the Bayer Bepanthol Sensidaily body cream; I use it on my face, too. It has dexpanthenol, as with all Bepanthol products, also ceramides, Niacinamide, squalane. Obviously fragrance-free and for 150 ml, the price is really good.
Hyaluronic acid doesn't do it for me but I've recently tried ceramides and bingo. Dr Jart ceramidin is my hyaluronic. Never would've tried it without Ms B's videos. Lot happier now.
@@izziwizziranaway Doesn't it just drive you mad when that happens? It can take ages to find the product that works and then they pull the rug from underneath you. Boots, up until a few weeks ago, had more products than anyone else with 20% off. A lot sold out now though :(
I haven’t used the ELF moisturizer but I have been using the companion night cream. It is very nice and such a good price. It doesn’t say fragrance free but it doesn’t have an obvious one to me.
Hi Nadine, thanks so much this video. Its so timely as I have just run out of facial moisturiser. Absolutely love your explanations and cutting through the marketing jargon! 👏
Love the Clinique MSIntense for years! Best gel-cream ever! it's a pity that they changed the formula. The previous version was better. Fortunately, the new one is also good, I will not change it for anything else. I will mention that my skin is very dry.
Perfect timing! I have oily skin, but I’m older so I want my moisturizers to do a bit of work. I’ve been looking for something moisturizing, relatively “simple”, and unscented. The by Terry is what I’ll try next. Plus, I need more of the liquid lip balm. Thank you!
you all probably dont give a damn but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me
@Carson Cohen thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I’ve been loving the Neutrogena Hydro Boost body lotion but use it on my face. It has a little more oomph hydrating my skin than the facial Hydro Boost. Edit: question about the By Terry product: aren’t low weight hylauronic acid formulations inflammatory for the skin?
Hello Nadine, thank you for another great video. I love the sound of the By Terry cream, she does the most wonderful products, just wish they were a little more purse friendly. Take care, Janet x
Thank you for another great video - I have tried gel moisturiser in the past but I don't think it satisfies me as much as a cream one - long live Cerave!!
I'm allergic to hyluronic acid. I hate the way companies seem to be competing to see who can cram the most into their ranges. I am stepping back from actives actually, its all getting a bit over the top. Not knocking people who enjoy them though.
I think a spatula has as many germs on as fingers have. I dont have time to wash a spatula with soap twice a day. I worry about the plastic involved in airless pumps though.
I used to adore the body shop vitamin c moisturiser. It was a lightweight gel. This video reminded me of it so I checked it out... sadly fragrance is higher on the list than I’d like (I remember it was fragranced) but it uses ascorbic acid as the form of vit c, I’m not sure how stable it is in the formula as it’s an older product so unsure if that knowledge was out there when that product was formed... if it’s stable that’s great! I’m tempted to repurchase just for old times sake and to reminisce 😂 does anyone else do that?
Hi Nadine! I wander if you can help me please? Have done something stupid. Few yrs.ago. Have left CACI eye patches on the eye are a, for a while, without using a wand. At the time had arm injuries so couldn’t do it properly. Now I’m left with deep lines and tiny little squares underneath my eyes. They seem to be a print from the eye patches. Have tried hyaluronic acid and some other creams. Nothing seem to make any difference. Hope you can help 🌺🙏 My Best Wishes Anna x
Great video. Ive just ordered the AHC eye cream for face to try as they dont have the one you mentioned available over here at present. Thanks Nadine! x
Great information Nadine! I have used the Clinique product for some time and love it! Can you please do a segment on IPL hair removal devices? Are they safe and effective to use and if so which ones would you recommend? There are so many available, various opinions on them and I am not sure what features to look for (if they actually do what they claim to do) if I decide to purchase one. Many thanks! I love your channel.

Hi Nadine, I've just turned fifty and still have oily, blackhead prone skin. I am tempted by the blackhead removers that are around such as the Femvy Blackhead Remover. What do you think of these tools? Are they effective? Should I get one?
Hi Nadine, I cant figure out how to DM to ask this, so I'm putting it here (love the Terry cream, btw). I was wondering if you plan to review the Opte skin device that uses 3-D printing technology to deposit picoliter amounts of color and skin-treatinng serum onto discolorations on the face? It looks very natural and lovely but is pricey (~$600 for the device and $90/cartridge). Is it worth it? Thank you!
