I saw this randomly on TV when I was quite young for it - a young teenager or a pre-teen. I didn't understand a lot of it, but I was riveted. It's a movie you don't forget. I still think about it sometimes.
Hey "cinema school" kids, this is how you construct a SCREENplay. The picture uses all elements of moviemaking to advance the story: camera & lighting, art & props, costume, acting, dialogue and, maybe even most of all, film and sound editing. We don't need to worry about this ever becoming some misbegotten "theatrical adaptation" a la SUNSET BLVD! And the usage of these elements had to be built into the screenplay itself, the director couldn't just be winging it on the stage. No wonder it's always been a critics' fave, a very solid picture.
I remember seeing it as part of a double feature at the movies back at that time. It was the "other" movie. I dont really remember all that much about it though.
Bill Maher brought me here. Watched today. Typical 1970s overacting but otherwise very enjoyable who dunnit flick. I loved the way this unfolded. Movies like this just don’t exist anymore. Raquel Welch and Dyan Cannon are so gorgeous.
Pellicola davvero stupenda, sceneggiatura ben congegnata con alcuni colpi di scena riusciti, però è un pò troppo intricata la soluzione finale, quindi davvero stupenda e davvero stupenda per me come valutazione è 8,5.
Description of the movie is this: all party people on the boat is a murder suspect. Sounds eeriely like a real cold case death mystery from 1980; can you guesse what I'm thinking of??!!.
One of the greatest movies ever!! RIP Raquel Welch... and most of the rest of the cast.
This is one of those movies you hated to see end because it was so good!

Rian Johnson brought me here
Larry Karaszewski brought me
Nobody fucking cares
Me too!
Me too. Can’t wait to see it.
Me, too.
i love this written by Stephen Sondheim and Anthony Perkins.
I saw Rian Johnson casually mention this fact in an interview and I legitimately gasped
Anthony Perkins who played Norman Bates in all 3 Psychos?
@@lukacunningham342 yes !😊
Now what do those two have in common....let's see if anyone can work it out.
That's one bad-ass 70's cast! Cool-looking flick!
Utterly brilliant film
Oh my god, I forgot how great of an actress Dyan Cannon is. Even in this brief scene, I 100% believe that she is drunk as a skunk.
Saw this years ago on TV and loved it! Have never met anyone else who ever saw it!
JUST SAW IT ON TCM! GREAT MOVIE-- TI WAS RICHARD WHO WAS THE KILLER!
UHHH THAT PROPELLER SCENE
@@ekop1778 an unsung classic.
Considering TLOS was referenced in _Glass Onion_ I suspect it'll have a new audience!
@@Uriel238 I saw Knives Out and I was looking for something similar and found Sheila.
Yes, excellent movie.
SUCH a good movie. Very clever.
As soon as James Mason began monologuing at the end I knew he had to have an ace up his sleeve.
He did.
What a cast!
Ian McShane is so young.
Underrated whodunnit gem
Very very underrated ,but so 👍. One of thenest whodunit movies of the 70's and 80's.

Dyan Cannon! 🔥🔥 🔥
I noticed when he took the picture of them all you don't see the name SHEILA above their heads. That's the whole part of the movie.
You don't want to give away everything in a trailer.

Plz upload the full movie
the music legit made me scared and paranoid
Man, I love Glass Onion
Genuinely underrated shit

Who know: what song play in episode when Raquel Welch rests in street restaurant?

Natalie, and Chris Walken and the other guy...forgot his name (Robert Wagner?)
I think they all did it.
Is it true that this is being re-made this year?
Sheiler, Sheiler, she's an onion peeler.
Desperate overacting was all the rage for the three weeks it took to make this movie.
It's just a bit of fun. They're all enjoying themselves and getting paid, literally nobody is "desperate".
