I really like it too, however, It's not as difficult as you might think. With my choir, we sing whole concerts without a single note. That's something like 25 songs, 90 minutes. And believe me its the only way to make the energy come through to the audience not being blocked by the sheet music you're looking into.

No need to be Latin speaking to know the Gloria. It should be compulsory for every Christian to know basic hymns like this one or the Sanctus, the Te Deum or the Salve Regina.
"Salve Regina"? thou shalt have no other gods besides me... no one comes to the Father except through me... whoever believes me is my mother and sister. why Salve Regina?
