That was one of my choices of Cal State schools I wanted to go to. The others on the list were Long Beach, Northridge, Dominguez Hills (Carson), San Diego and Los Angeles. I eventually went to the latter.
I went to CSUF for a couple years followed by transferring to a top 10 university. CSUF instruction was actually better! It is an underrated school, a very excellent education if you have a chance to attend.
Dante Powell was a 1st round pick by the SF Giants. I think he played 3 or 4 seasons there as a pro. And Bret Hemphill played for the Angels for a really short time. I don't remember anyone else from that season. I think Ted Silva is a coach at USC now.
Really cool video, but no mention of the business school?!?! Isn’t it one of the largest in the country, or something along those lines? There’s a bunch of business students graduating out of CSUF each year, growing that alumni network globally.
Looks a bit different from 1980 when I graduated.
Incredible academic institution
🥸
31 National Championships (4 in Baseball)! Go Titans!
Excluding baseball, all your championships are 50 years old
