I love how her voice and character evolved from such a sweet, soft-spoken lady, 5:07 all prim and proper… 6:38 into a gruff badass just like Ruby by the end of the film. She worked her ass off to fix the farm, became a hunter and willing to kill to protect her friends.

This is one of those movies where I wish Hollywood didn't always go for the glamour. Kidman, clearly walking around covered in modern makeup looks out of place for the setting. The scenes in the snow make it worse. That's not what someone looks like after walking around in the cold for a while.
