Hi guys! I've just bought an expert and I'm thinking of doing a similar conversion as you guys. Very grateful for all of your videos! Couple of questions...do you think the insulation and sound proofing made much of a difference? I've seen other videos where they really filled every bit of empty space with insulation but I'm hoping that might be overkill... ALSO where did you get your windows and sealant, primer from? I'm thinking I'll do the window installation myself after seeing your videos! Thanks again for the help and advice!

Hey made glad to hear you went for the expert! You won’t regret it :)
I think the insulation and sound proofing make a huge difference however, you do not need to insulate every inch, just do a majority, and remember your vapour barrier.
Windows and Sealant from Just Kampers, easy to do it yourself, just take your time, and get enough black sealant on, if not you will experience leaks

I did a conversion to the vivaro version of this van. You can get a awning cover for the back doors for about £50. It's handy on occasions. 1st version was like you have just now second version had fixed storage using stanley tool boxes and my 3rd version has a bench type bed and a storage unit at the back. Takes about 1 hour to convert back to a van. Longer journeys gets 50-60 mpg which is great, once I got 67mpg....in a van!

We may be taking some tips from yourself in the future :) That awning cover we will check that out, will help for cooking etc.
Good MPG saves a lot of money 💰

The best stealth camper was my mates took pictures through the window got them blown up then he stuck them on the inside. Looking through the windows it looks like a empty van
