Hi Loren! I don't think you've been reading comments which I understand, but as a non muslim, I would love to see prayer incorporated in the vlogs. If that's possible, of course! I believe there are 5 prayers during the day, right? I really don't know anything about it and I would love it so much if you showed us how it works and how you do it throughout the day. But I understand your channel isn't about educating on religion so I understand if you can't do it. Also because it's something very personal of course. Hope you're really happy in this new phase of your life. I can see you are 😊

@@carinag3 There are 5 obligatory daily prayers in Islam, which you have to do each at its appointed time. You can do them anywhere except for the bathroom and graveyard, but the place should be clean. Also you have to be dressed appropriately, meaning wearing a loose long dress and a hijab for women.

Are some daily prayers required to do with your husband or family? Or you can do them either alone or with others? And what does each daily prayer represent? 😊
@@carinag3 you’re welcome! The daily prayers don’t have to be prayed in congregation, although many couples/families pray together as it strengthens not only the bond between you and God but also the bond between each other. Men have to attend Friday prayer (every Friday at noon) which is prayed in congregation. Women can choose whether they want to pray at home alone or in congregation, but it’s not obligatory for them. Also in Ramadan there is a night prayer called Taraweeh which is prayed in congregation but not obligatory.
The prayer times depend on sunrise and sunset. The first prayer (fajr) is about 1.5 hours before sunrise. Noon prayer (dhuhr) is when the sun reached the highest point. Afternoon prayer (asr) is about halfway between noon prayer and sunset. Evening prayer (maghrib) is after sunset. The last prayer (isha) is about 1.5 hours after the evening prayer.
During the night you can to voluntary prayers (for example tahajjud) if you want to. It is said that God grants every wish said in prayer during the last third of the night.

It is not permissible for a Muslim to keep a dog, unless he needs this dog for hunting, guarding livestock or guarding crops.
Al-Bukhaari (2145) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever keeps a dog, a qiraat from his good deeds will be deducted every day, except a dog for farming or herding livestock.”
Muslim (2978) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever keeps a dog that is not a dog for hunting, herding livestock or farming, two qiraats will be deducted from his reward each day.”

A dog becomes part of your family is not just a disposable thing... they can do whatever the fuck they want with their life. You can be religious at diferent levels.

I remember when I got married and move 3 hours from home. I called my mom every morning too, it helps me a lot with adjusting!
You’re going to kill the nonstick on your pan using a metal spatula! Try something with rubber or plastic tip!!
Only unsolicited advice I have is to use the wooden spatula that came with that pan (I have the same brand), or a rubber one. That metal one will ruin the non-stick coating.

We as Muslims surrender ourselves unconditionally to the will of Allah and we must follow his commands . We are supposed to be kind with animals and take care of them (but just can't keep dogs at home) . And if she changes her mind, she can arrange for a new place for the dog there's nothing wrong in it .

Why is it so normal for 🇺🇸 ‘Muslims’ to eat haram food? Isn’t it against your religion? It’s because our food in America is so unhealthy even if it’s labeled healthy. The FDA approved dyes, additives, and chemicals in our food that no other country does. This is the reason we’re always counting calories and looking at ingredients and weighing out what we had earlier in the day to see what we can and can’t eat the rest of the day. Also, we don’t do much activity in America other than going to the gym. In Europe, the Middle East, etc. you don’t even really need a car to go run your errands. You can walk to the market, shopping strip, restaurants, etc. Europe was built for accessibility, America was not.
