Impossible to remove the woofer system… it’s just there and perhaps just not worth mentioning anymore
According to the official Babolat catalogue for season 2023, there is no woofer system in the new Pure Aero 2023. Only these 3 main technologies are listed there. There will be also the SWX Pure Feel technology but only for these 4 lower versions - Team, Lite, Jr 26, Jr 25.

@@cold_servo_pie I think the 2019 model has more string movement because of the square grommets on the top and on the bottom of the hoop. So, the new one has more control like this review said. But spin they all have a lot of.

I think the grommet system is not a big deal when you compare squared vs round grommets. What makes difference is when the grommets have rectangle shape like Head Extreme rackets have. This can actually have huge impact on better spin.
Great comparison video. I play with an old Aero Pro Drive that resembles quite nicely in design this new pure aero 2023. About to change racquet… I wonder whether the new head extreme or this new Pure Aero 2023 either would be better for my game…
Thank you. You will need to find out for yourself. But I think the Extreme rackets will have more spin potential now compared to the new Pure Aero 2023. But that is just my thought based on the info I know. Better is always to try both rackets for yourself.

Definitely, but I don't have them with me so at least I try my best based on my long term experience and knowledge of the tennis racket industry. And I study the info about the rackets from various sources before I publish my own point of view. So yes, it's a little bit strange, but still it can help a lot of people I believe.
In my opinion, that means, new Aero should break strings less often, due to tighter string pattern right? The old one has the reputation of HUGE string breaker and for recreational players it could get quite costly, so this problem could be gone.
not really you just go from 1.25 to 1.30, and no problem
Yes, that's true. Rafa used to play with RPM Blast 1.35 mm to make the strings last longer. Last couple of seasons he switched to 1.30 mm version to gain more free power and feel. That's why I like the Tecnifibre Black Code 1.28 mm, that perfectly blends the durability with feel and power.

No, the standard Pure Aero 300g is definitely less precise. But the new Pure Aero 98 will be on the similar or higher leve of precision with 16x20 string pattern for extra precision boost and feel.
Nothing about the grommets? This was a big issue with the control at the old pa 2019.

Difference between stiffness is unstrung versus strung
That doesn't make sense. Strung racket should be stiffer. The original RA number provided by manufacturers is always unstrung. So for the new Pure Aero 2023 it is 69 according to the official catalogue I have and which has not been released yet to the public.
@@CzechTennisGuy as far as i know they always say that the ra lowers a few points because of the strings. I'm just parroting multiple other sources. I heard that from tennisnerd and tennis warehouse. They actually measure it so..

@@CzechTennisGuy I think Larz is correct, the measurements are unstrung 69 RA and strung TW spec 65 RA. A strung racket has a lower RA. The tension of the mains reduces the stiffness, the higher you string, the lower the stiffness.
This is right, a strung racket has a lower RA. How much depends on the tension in the strings, higher tension = even lower RA when strung.
RA is pretty flawed though, I guess it works ok as a comparison between frames. Maybe Wilson's stiffness test is more representative.
