- SHAKING BEEF | BO LUC LAC⤵️
MARINADE
2 lbs beef, cubed. I used ribeye
A lot of minced garlic (like 10 cloves)
3 TBSP oyster sauce
2.5 TBSP low sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp fish sauce
3 TBSP oil of choice- I used vegetable
2.5 TBSP sugar
1 tsp black pepper
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
2 TBSP butter
2-3 bell peppers, any color
1. Combine all of your ingredients listed under marinade and marinate at least 10 mins at room temp (or over night for best results)
2. On a skillet, heat up some soil and cook/ sear your beef. About 1-2 minute each side (2-4 mins total). I cooked mine in 2 batches
3. In the same skillet after everything is seared, sauté onions for 2 minutes.
4. Then add bell peppers and cook for another 2 minutes
5. Then add your beef back in along with 2 TBSP salted butter. Cook until butter is half way melted. Then turn off heat & continue mixing until butter is all the way melted
6. I served mine with garlic noodles, I’ll have a recipe on this in my next post =)
The “blackity peppity” tickled me 😂 it’s like she made it a song
And with a Viet accent too, sent me haha
She says it all the time
I brought it back by popular demand😂
It felt like listening to my aunt and mom speaking in the kitchen, honestly comforting
Can't understand , happy cooked mama :)
Love this! Thank you
Love it when you speak Vietnamese & mix in English phrasing. Makes the video waaay more fun!
Haha that's how a lot of languages are nowadays, because English is so widespread. It is sometimes also better to say something in English than trying to find a way to say it in one's native language. All part of the evolution of language~
Average bilingual experience (no joke)
Glad you enjoy it!
In spanish culture it's called spanglish lol so I totally understand the phrase mixing
@@marialuvzghoulzayy in malaysia, its manglish lol
Omg, you speaking in Vietnamese just made the dish even more delicious!
Hope you like it!😋
You even added the Vietnamese accent to “blackidy peppity.” 😂 Had me dying laughing!
* doesn’t speak any Vietnamese but happily watches anyway * 😂
"You dumb as hell" in Vietnamese killed me 😂😂😂

“Yo my baby khóc kìa “😂😂😂😂😂
Always love your videos.❤❤❤

Your vietnamese is great!! It’s really comforting to listen to since i don’t live with my viet parents anymore, and my viet is awful. I hope you do more viet videos like this!
Your Vietnamese is perfect.
Of course I'm spaniard and I don't speak a single world of vietnamese but it sounded wonderful to me 😂
My whole heart! ❤

Looks absolutely mouthwatering. Love your Vietnamese, it sounds beautiful.
I’m going to make this recipe for my meal prep! I going to double the veggies though.
Yeah a couple of great cooking tips right there. Could clearly see the points you were trying to make.
What a lovely neighbour you are :)
you’re making me hungry 😂
Your Vietnamese is GREATTTT so don't be NERVOUS. It is not as natural but you have great accent, standard pronunciation and 1:28 "m ngu như con bò" make it so relatable😂😂😂
I honestly can’t tell. I was born and raised in the US, only speak English at home, but I go to viet school and spoke Vietnamese when I was younger (before I went to school) I could understand what she said, which means definitely not northern accent. Also, it’s not very likely she would have a north accent if she was raised in America. I think she has a southern accent, so probably speaks at home but raised in America cuz her English is rlly good.
@@user-we6kr9pl3mt she does has some southern-pronunciation or words but not a legit southern accent. Maybe her parents has southern accent so she inherited it, but not a strong accent I would say. To help you imagine, as a Vietnamese listener, she is speaking Northern vocab with a slight Southern dialect. And it's CUTEE af
@@hoanggiang7496 like I said, I’m not born in VN, I was in America and speak English at home. So I inherited a southern-ish accent when I was younger and did speak Vietnamese. She mentioned that she thinks her Vietnamese is good so she prob was raised in America with a southern family, but learned vocab from north ppl prob at a viet school. Maybe her family is central too. 🤷🏻♀
@@user-we6kr9pl3mt yes, it's just great for me to know Vietnamese like you and her still take Vietnam as a part of yourselves even when being born and raised in other countries 🥰🥰🥰
@@hoanggiang7496 yep! We have the same last name btw. I’m pretty sure it’s ur last name? It might be ur first lol
Love it! Food looks delicious! Vietnamese is so dope!

You can use old newspaper/anykind of paper/cardboard... to cover the kitchen counter/wall when making dishes that splash a lot of oil, when done just take away the paper, it reduce the cleaning time, my family usually do that
You were speaking so fast 😂😂
Delicious 😋
Those headlights on the thumbnail sis 😂❤
You remind me of my family cooking in the kitchen speaking Vietnamese.
Dễ thương haha
I dont know why but I like it when she cooks in Vietnamese. It feels like Asian mom vibes are there😂Im from Southeast Asia and I do speak Vietnamese but mine is suck since I migrate to another Southeast Asian country since I was 10 years old. Hearing she talks makes me remind of my grandmother and my mother😂😂😂
Me too 😂😂 when I want Asian mom vibes, I come here
@@johannasweet1120 She really will slays that role tho🤣
The fob version of " blackadee pepadee" is so much better 😂😂
And me who thought you were Korean American 😆🤣. Thanks for clarifying. Lovely that you do a video speaking Vietnamese. Languages and recipe styles are big bearers of the culture they promote. So 👏🎖️
Your Vietnamese is really good. Did you grow up in the US and just learned from your parents? That's excellent if you can speak that fluently!
I was born in vietnam but only lived there for 3-4 years. Grew up in California and now I’m in texas =)
You doing just well Alice !!!
Đùa chứ chị là kênh Creator người Việt ở nước ngoài em xem nhiều nhất óooo

Your Viet is so good. I’m so envious. I can understand everything but when it comes time for me to speak I’m mute 🫠😩. Is your brother (and other siblings?) just as fluent?

“You dumb as hell” sent me 😂😂😂
Cheering for you! Enjoying the Viet-English combo, very much represents our generation who didn't grow up in the motherland. :) Great recipes too - I've followed this recipe of yours a couple times now - moi lan an ngon mieng qua!!!

Why isn’t Alexa multilingual😭😭
Fr
Lol i wonder what Alexa would respond if she understood u insulting herin Vietnamese😂
The whole reason I do not to delivery groceries is because of that !! They’re Guna pick the wrong meat , eggs , squish the bread etc etc lmao
I always pick the item behind , never the first one on the shelf it could be damaged or old idk lol
You are not lazy! You are a full time mama and running a business sometimes this is the only break we get 😂
We love some French indochinese cuisine yum!
What fish sauce do you recommend?
Your Vietnamese is good. I'm quite bad at it as I only learned from interacting with my parents but I can understand you for the most part.
Thank you for sharing your Vietnamese with us ❤️ I follow a lot of Vietnamese RUclipsrs and you're the only one who regularly posts videos and shorts in Vietnamese 🇻🇳

“Overnight for best results” sounded just like I say it in English
Do you go by mnemonic in Diablo immortal ??
I find her mighty attractive
U called siri a dumb cow lol
Telling Alexa she's dumb as hell🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

“Alexa, you dumb as a cow” 😂
She actually said “you’re dumb as a cow” to Alexa
