I dont think you should lock conq haki behind a ranked wall there are so many other obtainable ways it can work
Real, if we’re going off of king status I feel like it should be requirements you have to do. Like the time you played, how many bosses you’ve beat. How many items and kills you have.

it makes sense to me that they lock it behind a ranked wall because you need to be competitive in one piece to have the qualities of a king and so conquerors haki
i feel like one piece new dreams had a good way of getting conq haki. it was not impossible to get however it had the perfect amount of difficulty so you wouldnt encounter one in every fight u had

They could also do this similar to the anime bc Rayleigh explain to luffy if u turn on armament haki ppl who haven't learned armament haki can't see it
Just make it so that is has conquerors they just have to awaken it, the ways to awaken it are multiple but very very rare, so rare that a minimum of people manage to actually awaken it, once awakened you have to train it or you could accidentally knock out weak npc’s and teammates, obviously conquerors would be very unbalanced but I think that makes sense. A way to balance it would be that depending on your level difference between you and your enemy the effects would be different, for example If you are level 100 and your enemy is level 5 then you straight up knock him out, while if he was level 50 then you would just temporarily give him a debuff effect.

I think since there is going to be three character slots, they should have it where when you create it there is a small chance it is able to awaken conquerors halo at all

came back after movie 2 and i am glad your are wrong abt the ranked idea cuz that would such for players that arent really keen on the pvp aspect of the game
i just assume u needa use one type of haki alot to be able to master it or just find an item in the depths of the ocean
locking anything behind any type of pvp is one of the dumbest ideas i've ever heard (just like you have slight chance of spawn to get it)
