I've talked about this on videos before. I think I'd had the game for 2 or 3 years in 2003, I was 13 and I did it on my 20th or 30th try at the beginning of the game. Only takes around 13 minutes iirc but I've never done it again and never wanted to

Retro Hanska I’d say its from growing up in different eras. When your parents were kids, that’s what they did. But at least they realized that when they did, rather than keep pushing you outside and forcing you to do things you’re not entirely comfortable with. Which is what a lot of parents would do
Oh god, after dozens of runs I finally managed to get to 195 and then got struck by lightning. I rage quit the game and smashed my controller. I was 12 back then and my mother thought too that I was getting bullied at school or some shit like that. lol
I broke my TV controller after yeeting it full pelt at my wall because of FFX and it's horrific mini "games". Chocobo and butterflies in particular -_-
That 8388607 limit for jump rope is pretty bizarre, since they must have used a signed 24 bit (3 byte) int. That's pretty rare in programming, as most ints are 1, 2, 4 or 8 bytes.
I have a master's degree in computer engineering, and even I don't know how to allocate 3-byte memory. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and even 64 sure but not 3. That must be something hardware specific to the PlayStation 1.
I’ll never forget the elation of completing the chocobo challenge for Tidus. Took me days, but so fucking worth it. One thing I loved about a lot of the mini games in the franchise is the exclusive and powerful items/weapons that you could obtain. Always made the challenge so rewarding to overcome.
A few years ago I replayed FFX all the legendary weapons and sigils were actually pretty easy except dodging lightning, even if they are predictable doesn't make it fun or not tedious. Still have not dodge 200 lightning bolts
For me, dodging the lightning bolts was the easiest challenge. Especially since you could simply pause the game after a couple of dodges, to recuperate your focus.
With the guaranteed lightning strike exploit, it really isnt that bad once you get in a groove, and like others have said you can always pause and take a break. Really, the only hard challenges IMO are the Butterflies and the Chocobo Race, and those are mostly due to camera angles and controls. Every other sigil is just a time investment, some may be more annoying than others, but you *will* get them eventually.
@@jaimereupert4247 Blitzball is actually based on the Captain Tsubasa soccer games, based on the Captain Tsubasa manga. The first localized release of it was in 1992 on the NES as Tecmo Cup Soccer Game, with an alternative cancelled version on the 16-bit Sega system as Tecmo Cup Football Game. A new edition of the game is set to be released on the Switch this year, and it looks like it will be localized.
Same I loved playing it, I would buy a game solely based on it. (Modernized and expanded on of course) The only bad thing about it is that once you recruit the best blitz ballers and level them up, it becomes way to easy to win. The only challenge was getting Tidus the Jecht shot and winning the two games you had to play in the main story line.
butterfly you had same paterns, where they are. they still nothing compared to FF9 Hippo or 1000 jumps. I also cheated with a Multi Controller and Save State on the PC. Otherwice it was kinda imposible for me.
yea, the chocobo racer was incredibly easy, the problem is everyone treats it like regular overworld movement when it isn't. they also never adapt to it, and just make everything worse. the butterfly was harder (as someone who's color blind with those exact damn colors), but at least it was a simple path i could follow thanks to the interwebs.
@@taekwon-do4life667 that jump rope shit is absurd. i got a little over 100 legitimately and even that felt like something over half the people who played the game probably couldn't do.
I remember finding the chocobo mini game incredibly frustrating, but I actually finished it, as opposed to the lightning and the butterflies. I also remember hating Sphere Break in the sequel a lot.
The butterflies had a set position whereas the balloons appeared randomly. Meaning you can actually get better at the game over time. For the chocobo catcher you can get better at controlling the chocobo but you still require luck when it comes to balloon position. This means the learning curve is still there but the luck component is not there in the butterfly challenge. Yes they're both frustrating but its your own fault if you fail the butterfly game but not always your fault if you fail the chocobo catcher game.
17:31 Normally, overflows occur at a power of two (32,768; 65,536; 2,147,483,647)... So I was scratching my head why it overflows at 3,388,608 ? ...Then I got out my calculator... it's the maximum 23-bit number. Which is weird that it's 23-bits ? But since it continues to display ZERO after that... I'm guessing it's a 24-bit signed integer ? And it's displaying all the negative numbers as ZERO ? Which is kinda weird that they would protect against printing a negative number instead of protecting against overflowing to negative ?
while it was challenging i actually beat it. ive never passed the chocobo race, dodging lightening, or jumping rope. those can obviously be done but w great mental and physical detriment lol but once you get the hang of the ffviir mini game (and turn all sound off in the options except for sound effects) (i kept the music low because that track is dope and timed w the two mins v well) you can do it. it’s like... a doable frustrating. the others? so much time sink and practice... it’s wild
Thank you for mentioning the X-2 towers. Though I have to disagree, I found Yuna's to be the easiest of the three but that's probably because I have a decent memory (though using a mnemonic did help). Rikku's Tower 7 on the other hand... now that made me rage so hard.
Just you wait. In FFVII Remake Episode lll: Meteor I’m going to make Cloud do some legit 80’s Breakdancing to obtain the Black Materia before forking it over to me 😂
Ashen Shugur I’d like to help, but if we’re going to change the script I’ve gotta aim for Yuffie. That way Cloud will not waste time chasing down stolen items. The sooner he shows up in the Northern Crater the sooner l can kill pretty much everyone and absorb the Lifestream.
We all know the 80's breakdance will be in Golden Saucer, don't lie. He'll do it by choice. No, the real torment is making him pose to fit into specific person-shaped holes in walls that are flying at him or something absurd like that.
The minigames in ff x are super fun for me and rewarding. The fact that in the race u actually see urself get better gives u an incentive to keep doing it cuz u knew u were getting closer to ur goal. And blitzball is great fun IF you know what you are doing and recruited the players that fit your team. That damn lightning dodge although doable i just dont find it as rewarding and fun so i gave up on it even though i logged 240+ hrs on ffx in my ps2 lol
As much as I love Final Fantasy X, being one of my favorites in the series, I have to say, I hated EVERY mini-game lol I didn't like a single one! And as much as I HATE FFX-2, I at least liked the third person shooting mini-game. And with any other FF game in the series, I can enjoy a few mini-games, but with FFX, not a single one lol I couldn't stand them!
@Jerry Smith blitzball it frustrating until you get the jecht shot, and once you get that it becomes overly easy and repetitive. once you get that shot you basically follow an identical pattern every match. i remember restarting at least 5 times to win the first match in the game, i can't imagine many people winning that match, it's hard as hell.
@@Jack_80 For the fact is really hard and if you lose the game continues normally, even myself thought you cannot win that match! But then in the HD ver. I did it
Lighting dodging is far harder in x than chocobo races. Even with the manipulation I have never completed it but the race takes me under 20 attemps. In one of my playthroughs, I managed to get it within 3.
you'll have a long wait before even seeing the golden saucer. it very likely won't be until episode 2 and that could be years after episode 1 releases.
Honestly i dont even know why people got mad at that. Sure its very hard to beat it, but its not even worth playing in the first place. Sure you get a Ribbon out of it, but you can get Ribbons elsewhere. That minigame is completely worthless lmao
For the FFX Catch a Chocobo, I broke my phone by throwing it because my "friend" kept calling me while he knew I was trying to get the Sigil. To be fair that same friend is also the reason I "got good" at Blitzball lol
Its a signed value overflow on a 3-byte integer. Which is funny because I'd never ever done dev work on an architecture that used 3-byte ints before, so I saw that number and immediately went "Oh, that's an overflow... but why doesn't it look right? I'd expect 32767 or 2147483647."
Hello. I'm a bit late to the party, but never would have imagined that my 12 years old video would be featured in this at 8:43. I sure was surprised. I tried Hippaul lvl 100 (I still have the same save file) with my PS3 controller after watching this video and beat him in first try. It's not really that hard if you can tap your fingers fast enough. The only gimmick you need is to keep your controller in place.
I just recently finished FFIX on GamePass and the Hippaul mini game was one of the easiest I've ever done. I never even came close to losing a single race, and it wasn't until level 75 that I wasn't able to increase his level by 5 after every race. I just used two thumbs, left on X, right on B, and just rocked the controller between them and Hippaul never even got close to me.
I remember when i was a kid, i thought i would gain a super strong ultima weapon, and when i finished it i was angry that i got only rope king reward:D
they made this a trophy on the ps4 version of ff9... lol yeah i cheated to get mine :p had to download a script and script reader, connect my ps4 through my pc with remote play and wait till like 2 am when no one was on the internet to get it.
While not hard, that snowboard minigame in 7 is one I hope to never have to play again. The controls are annoyingly horrible. You can probably get down the mountain in the same amount of time by not trying at all because, even when trying, I still manage to hit nearly every obstacle on the way. lol... Anyone have a skip for that one?
every time i think about starting FF9 i play something else because of the rope game... I'm a completionist and can't just skip it, my brain wont let me.
Same here! But I honestly recommend FF7 and FF8 remastered instead, they are both much easier to 100% Even if you did the rope mini game theres so much more BS on FF9 that.. Honestly just isn't even worth starting so I gave up also
I really can't agree with placing 3D Battler to the list. The other mentioned minigames actually have some reason that player would want to play them, meaning that completionist player will go for them even if the experience is painful. There's nothing like that about the 3D Battler, though. As mentioned, it only awards GP, which can be earned way more painlessly in other more fun ways.
I literally considered paying a professional to do Catcher Chocobo for me. I have to this day never been able to do it. Or the lightning, or the butterflies.......
I managed to do all of them. Including the other Chocobo Race. The lightning is the easiest, the Catcher Chocobo + the other Chocobo Race were the worst. But each took a few hours. And I redid it again for the Steam version. Lightning is a state of your mind which you need to cultivate. Butterflies, read a guide on it and practice, Chocobo Race for both of them, 10% for practice and 90% out of luck.
I find it really interesting how differently people do in the mini games, I have no hope at catcher chocobo but find blitzball and lightning dodging super easy. On the other hand I know people that are the opposite.
@@ViviCaligo Yeah like me. I was able to do Catcher Chocobo after about 2 hours of practice. The lightning dodger on the other hand, I just cannot do (or just refuse to take part in again). Not only is it tedious, but it is generally the most un-fun mini game I have ever played (in any game), and due to some controller response issues on later versions, that mini game game was down right maddening. After randomly failing after 3 100+ successful attempts in a row, I will never attempt it again. @Faidou As for Blitzball. It was literally one of the easiest mini games in FF imo. All you needed was a decent roster and the Jecht Shot.
My issue with Blitzball isnt the difficulty (although i am still bitter about how the game is introduced with the very unfair game against the Al Bhed Psyches), its moreso the fact that Blitzball is very boring once you get to the grind. As well as unless you're going for all trophies/achievements in the HD versions, Blitzball isnt really necessary. I totally dropped Wakka as a party member once i realized how useful Rikku is
@@ViviCaligo i feel like a lot of these people never used the jecht shot in blitzball. once you get that you can follow a nearly identical pattern every match and win easily. the first story based blitzball match was hard as hell, i had to restart 5+ times to barely scrape my way through it, but once i got the jecht shot it became really easy, repetitive and boring but easy.
Still don't get why people can't do the butterfly and chocobo in ffx. I played the game several times. Lightning jumping has always been the one i hated the most. Chocobo i actually quite like. As for FF IX i agree. Man that running and jumping was annoying.
man so many people suck at racing. it was actually extremely easy. avoid birds first, remember to not turn beyond 90 degrees, and avoid birds. there's no glitches, just bad players.
Here's the layman's term * Larger number beats lower number. * 1 thru 9; A = 10 * you attack with the side of the cards: top, left, bottom, right. Based on number placement.
while same rule is even numbers (3 and 3) while plus is the added amount (4 and 3) against (5 and 2) still makes seven...random is obvious but I myself never understood the same wall rule....
@Gameslayer 9000 I always hated how illogical that card game was...I'd put a save file cheated card(max value all sides) and it COULD STILL LOSE to a massively inferior card...
Oh wow. I think the FF7 boxing mini game is a reference to Tobal no. 1. That's a bit how the fighting system works, and Tobal no. 1 came with a FF7 demo disc.
Well.. most of these were made primarily with a Japanese players in mind, by Japanese, whose culture encourages practicing skill through repetition and is used to dealing with unfair conditions.
i wanted to turn that little shit over to KFC... the lightning mini game is piss easy, there is a little loop you can do and the bolts are predictable, you cant not dodge them.
@@TheAuron32 The lightning dodger mini game, I just cannot do (or just refuse to take part in again). Even though I was able to complete Catcher Chocobo and not the Lightning Dodger, I would still say the LD was overall easier, but 200?!!! WTF were they thinking?! Given the threshold needed to complete LD, it was infinitely more tedious and infuriating. At least with CC I felt I was making progress, but after getting to like 170 dodges in a row and just having it randomly fail and having to start over, I almost chucked my PS4 off my balcony!
I did the chocobo under 0:00 game 2 times in my life, but never did the lightning one I just never had the patience to do this kind of stuff, I can't ever imagine getting to 100 and failing just to do it all over again It's probably the most boring and annoying minigame EVER
I will agree with the Chocobo race on final fantasy 7 that would be pretty hard sometimes With the black chocobo The card game in Final fantasy 8 is my second hardest Doing squats in final fantasy 7 was hard, but after playing it for so many years, It’s been no problem for me Capturing the red balloons are still a challenge for me, Beating ruby & emerald weapons are a challenge for me I’ve beat them both once, but forgot the material combination to beat them with I love the jump rope mini challenge I love the video,
the chocobo races in ff7 have something i consider a cheat which makes it much easier that i didn't know about for years. if you hold in a button (don't remember what button), it regenerates your stamina quite quickly. you just basically hold that button in the entire race and you can sprint far more frequently than normal.
Catcher Chocobo didn't really give me any trouble in the HD Remaster, I literally got the Sigil after only 3 attempts, that stupid butterfly catching was much more annoying made even worse by the fact that I never even use Kimahri.
I got 999 jumps on FF9 when I was younger. As I got closer to 1k I started trembling as I realised I could potentially do it...ended up messing it up. I did EVENTUALLY get it after trying over and over. When I bought it again recently on Steam, I just used an auto-click macro on my mouse. Took 2 seconds to set up!
@Lone Wisdom I had a Razer mouse at the time, used their official software to set it up. If you google 'mouse macro software' you're bound to find something that will do the same job.
@@danielmarhuenda i hated the remaster for xii period due to the fact that they removed anything resembling challenge from it, when the original was maybe the most challenging ff i've played, and that's what i liked about it.
I love that you referenced the Absolute Steve FF7 guide it's been a godsend as I replay FF7 it's amazing how much you can forget about a game that you beat 20 years ago lol
Some of the sigils for the ultimate weapons in final Fantasy 10 I never acquired. I did however have lots of fun playing blitzball. Passing the ball back and forth between players really help them level up.
TheSarste It really wasn’t hard if you had the right setting. I turn the lights out, stay near a tower, and just run back after every 20 or so for a break on my eyes. ✌️
Jerry Smith You just gotta give yourself a break now and again under a tower. And what I did was every time I dodged 20, I went to the tower and wrote down how many I dodged, then added another ten or so to the count just to be safe.
Yes, it wasn't really that hard mechanically, its only hard for those too lazy to count properly or do another 10 dodges to be sure. If in doubt, do another 10.
@@MiniJodaTV once you get the jecht shot, blitzball becomes almost boringly easy. and you get the jecht shot very early as long as you don't screw up the flashback minigame of jetch doing it.
I've played most of the Final Fantasy games, maybe not all of them but most, never played the DS version of FFiv or FF X-2, but I have played a majority of these and know the difficulty of all of the ones I have played. Chocobo catcher can be difficult, but it's one of the easier one's sigil wise. Each race is somewhat randomized, and your best chance of winning the sigil is when the course favors you in the beginning, what I means is the balloons on the starting ramp are aligned to your side making it easier to get them from the trainer, this nets 4-5 balloons with almost no interference, can't guarantee the 5th as it may be placed awkwardly to the race path. Kimahri's butterfly catch is worse than this, while the controls aren't as clunky maneuvering the character the object collision is much harder to see and avoid. Hippaul's race is fairly easy, many things factor in to his leveling, so it's not like you have to race him 80 times but he does get faster each level. Jump rope and Lightning dodging are very similar but I would probably say jump rope is much more difficult due to the variance in speed and the overall milestone. I have done both. I did jump rope without a script, I used a turbo controller without using the turbo function. I felt this was the only way, as a regular controller did not seem to have the latency requirements for some of the later jumps. I did try the turbo function on the controller but it didn't get very far, as it didn't correctly work with how the action icon worked, as later stages in jump rope were so fast the action icon barely had time to appear and the turbo function would register multiple hits causing the action to restart from the last hit registered, which may cause a hit outside the frame window and cause you to mess up.
@@jimmartin516655 well yes, but you need to get the butterflies in time, and running into a red delays it by a second. Really the 2nd one is the problem. First you have to go back to get a butterfly, get the other butterflies and at the end, you have like 0.01 seconds to get the last one. I was able to do it,but it took me 24 hours gameplay time to do it.
In case anyone's interested, the maximum jump count of 8,388,607 suggests that they used a 24-bit signed integer variable. I'm just impressed that the value rolls back around to 0 instead of -8,388,608.
Yeah agreed. And even then when you complete all the mini games you get locked out of completion due to the ultimate party animal bug. Square enix can suck my big prickly cactuar.
I love these comments and they made me laugh 😂. Square is just continuing the tradition of annoying Final Fantasy mini games tbh. Think about it, every single mainline FF title that was considered a masterpiece had annoying mini games and they were often compulsory to do at 1st. Many people complained about FF16’s lack of mini games so Square Enix has brought them out in full force. Enjoy 🤣
Yeah, I cheesed King of Jump Rope myself using the PC remote play method and feel no shame. It was an unfair trophy and every other trophy/achievement I attained authentically. Also so glad Catcher Chocobo was mentioned over the lightning dodging. The dodging is just tedious but Catcher is an absolute nightmare. It doesn't help that the courses are randomised. In the end, it takes luck and perseverance.
thats funny cause i remember doing the chocobo race, and getting the 0 timer fairly easily, while really getting furious at the lightning one (when done legit ofc ...)
The 15 Puzzle from Final Fantasy 1 is actually pretty easy if you remember to solve the top row first, then the next, and remember that each completed row never has to be moved again. You also want to take a long as possible to solve it at first and then get only slightly faster after completing it the first time, because you get random items every time you beat the record. If you solve it too fast the first time, you wont get anything unless you can beat that already barely-possible record you just set and all you'll get is 100 gil.
Never really had a problem with the Chocobo dodging. The Butterflies for Kamarai took me forever to do the first time. Also I never had any issues with the X-2 side quests Jump Rope is impossible
I completed the chocobo race in both the original and the remastered release of the game - with a time of less than zero. Same with butterfly catching. Never completed 200 lightning dodges though... not even once.

I have a master's degree in computer engineering, and even I don't know how to allocate 3-byte memory. 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and even 64 sure but not 3. That must be something hardware specific to the PlayStation 1.
Triple Triad was fun in FF8, I'd spent hours playing that sidetracking from the main story.
Not to mention it completely broke the game. Junction 100 tornados on everyone's attack stat and you could be just about every boss in the game
@@Deckaio That was always my strategy, too.
Lightning dodging is probably the 2nd worst for me.
1. Butterfly game
2. Lightning
3. Chocobo racing
4. Blitzball
5. Yuna summons
6. Monster collecting
7. Cactuar
The things I’ve said during Chocobo racing is sending me to hell in every religion

Not only does the speed of the jump rope increase, they change the pace into double jumps after 3 or 400 jumps.
I love Blitzball. I stopped playing the main story and just boot up the game now and then to play it.
That's the only reason I play that game anymore. They need to make game based on that, and the card game from Xenosaga episode 1.
It gets really fucking hard, even with Cid and Jecht Shot.
(Modernized and expanded on of course)
The only bad thing about it is that once you recruit the best blitz ballers and level them up, it becomes way to easy to win. The only challenge was getting Tidus the Jecht shot and winning the two games you had to play in the main story line.
@@dolphinboi-playmonsterranc9668 My tema ; Tidus, Wedge , Zev, Ropp , Wakka, and the femal goolkeeper!
honestly. The chocobo mini game was much easier imo than the butterfly game. At least I can see the birds and blitzballs.
butterfly you had same paterns, where they are. they still nothing compared to FF9 Hippo or 1000 jumps.
Lightning one was evil. I never finished that one.
i would not say she's evil just bad tempered... oh, the mini game, not the pink haired woman... my bad.
This needs to be updated.

I never knew I could hate pull ups as I do now.

This needs to be updated after rebirth. I almost lost it quite a few times. (the piano ones were sick to get perfect scores though)
Poor Hippaul! Not only is his mom forcing him to exercise but she gives away his cards when he loses!! 😭
It might be stored as some form of floating point. The typical 32 bit float has 1 sign bit, 8 exponent bits, and a 23 bit mantissa.
Soon to be added:
*the pull up challenge on Final Fantasy VII* *Remake.*
While that was somewhat challenging, it really doesn't compare at all.
while it was challenging i actually beat it. ive never passed the chocobo race, dodging lightening, or jumping rope. those can obviously be done but w great mental and physical detriment lol but once you get the hang of the ffviir mini game (and turn all sound off in the options except for sound effects) (i kept the music low because that track is dope and timed w the two mins v well) you can do it. it’s like... a doable frustrating. the others? so much time sink and practice... it’s wild
Out of 100 nobles, 99 were impressed.
At least you could do it as many times as it took. Also the gil that early really helped
Thank you for mentioning the X-2 towers. Though I have to disagree, I found Yuna's to be the easiest of the three but that's probably because I have a decent memory (though using a mnemonic did help).
Rikku's Tower 7 on the other hand... now that made me rage so hard.
I vividly remember Paine's 2nd tower auto-failing me every time before the last couple prompts were even shown.
Yuna's last tower is by far the hardest.
Just you wait. In FFVII Remake Episode lll: Meteor I’m going to make Cloud do some legit 80’s Breakdancing to obtain the Black Materia before forking it over to me 😂
Can you do me a solid though? Instead of killing Aerith take out Cait Sith.

Going from Triple Triad to Tetra Master was a shame, Triple Triad was awesome and is still one of my favorite FF mini games.
I never really thought of the lightning bolt dodging as hard, just very tedious.
It's like stacking a 6 foot tall jenga tower in a hurricane.
True specially when you compare it to how easy the other characters ultimste weapons are to get that one is just dumb

Now chocobo gliding in rebirth is top of the list
I've fought the invisible guy in FF7's fighter minigame, wasnt nearly as bad as the grind required to beat ruby weapon back then.
I thought that part was a glitch when I played. Couldn't see the guy.

Oh and chocobo race in ffx
As much as I love Final Fantasy X, being one of my favorites in the series, I have to say, I hated EVERY mini-game lol
I didn't like a single one! And as much as I HATE FFX-2, I at least liked the third person shooting mini-game. And with any other FF game in the series, I can enjoy a few mini-games, but with FFX, not a single one lol I couldn't stand them!
Lol same, it beat vivi’s jump rope mini game which I hated at the time.
But I looooved the ultimate weapons, so rewarding.
Same here, I can't think of a single mini-game in FFX that I enjoyed, including Blitzball.
In one of my playthroughs, I managed to get it within 3.
i hope all the golden saucer mini games return in the FF7 Remake
you'll have a long wait before even seeing the golden saucer. it very likely won't be until episode 2 and that could be years after episode 1 releases.

To be fair that same friend is also the reason I "got good" at Blitzball lol

airplane mode is a thing. highly recommend using it to prevent trolling like that instead of destroying your stuff.
If you’re wondering why the “cap” on the jump-rope counter seems to be such a random number, it’s actually related to a high power of 2.
Oh god I just remembered that Massage minigame from X-2
The god damn jump rope game will forever haunt me

While not hard, that snowboard minigame in 7 is one I hope to never have to play again. The controls are annoyingly horrible. You can probably get down the mountain in the same amount of time by not trying at all because, even when trying, I still manage to hit nearly every obstacle on the way. lol...

I'm a completionist and can't just skip it, my brain wont let me.
Me too.
Same here! But I honestly recommend FF7 and FF8 remastered instead, they are both much easier to 100%
Even if you did the rope mini game theres so much more BS on FF9 that.. Honestly just isn't even worth starting so I gave up also
I got all the way to end of the game, my file got deleted so I had to start over. To this day I have yet to ever beat 9. :(
If you’re really about being completionist, there is code which does it automatically. There are a few vids on it.
If you were really a completionist, you wouldn't even touch that minigame until the end in order to get Excalibur II
Sphere Break can choke.
The best way to get gp in my opinion is with the chocobo race !!
For the butterflies, look up a map online and learn where the red ones are by heart. Should only take a few tries after that.
I haven’t done any of them either. The butterflies are something I decided I’m not going to do. Being colorblind it’s a true nightmare. Fuck that.
Nothing beat the jump rope with those Girls in Alexandria. Hardedt minigame of all time.
That's odd, I found the Blitzball minigame harder than the Chocobo Race.

I agree. Blitzball and Chocobo racing, not to mention the Monster Arena are way more tedious.
How dare u not include butterfly minigame. Nearly impossible and useless
That is also a really hard one 😓
I honestly love FFX so much but so many of those ultimate weapon mini games are so annoying it actually discouraged me from even playing it again
But the butterflies appear in the same spots no matter how many times you try. All you had to do was memorize the patterns.

The saying isn't "Cannot be understated." It's "Cannot be overstated."
for races you have to alternate buttons use a lighter flat and slide it back and forth across buttons
1,000th like 😂😂
The 15 Puzzle from Final Fantasy 1 is actually pretty easy if you remember to solve the top row first, then the next, and remember that each completed row never has to be moved again. You also want to take a long as possible to solve it at first and then get only slightly faster after completing it the first time, because you get random items every time you beat the record. If you solve it too fast the first time, you wont get anything unless you can beat that already barely-possible record you just set and all you'll get is 100 gil.
I spent 7 hours practicing to get the hail to the king jump rope trophy, super proud of that.
took me like a week of practice to get 1000 jumps. congrats
Never really had a problem with the Chocobo dodging. The Butterflies for Kamarai took me forever to do the first time.
Also I never had any issues with the X-2 side quests
Jump Rope is impossible
I completed the chocobo race in both the original and the remastered release of the game - with a time of less than zero. Same with butterfly catching.
Never completed 200 lightning dodges though... not even once.
The concert on the airship on ff10-2 stressed me out no end trying to get the mascot dressphere u had to get a good score.
Little did I know you just had to mash the buttons.
