That unmistakable Avenger BRRRRRT. Probably my favorite sound in the USAF besides that unique whine the A-10 turbofans have. Well, besides being told I wasn’t the poor schmuck that got the ham and cheese omelette MRE (shudder). I’m pretty sure at least one of our NCOs saved those things as a punishment. I still get a gag reflex from that, and I’ve been out of the service for 30ish years.
Liking the intros you've been putting in your videos. I've seen this stream, pretty cool to see the edited video now. I don't think I've seen a video like this before on a DCS game. Probably I got most of my best information about DCS playing related stuff on your channel. Thanks for that.
Great channel, just getting through most of the Apache videos to which you have no equal. I got the module a few months ago and of course the first thing I did was learn to take off, cruise, land, get the commands bound, etc. Just the basic airmanship any new pilot would go thru. Now I am learning to fight. I started with WASing the gun and shooting while flying. Great fun just in that. But now I am using George and having an issue. I know this isn't your thing, but when I call up George's Circle panel there should be a menu that appears that I can select which target I want him to. I have a half dozen targets like an APC, tank, trucks, artillery, etc. and that window doesn't appear. I give him the consent to fire and he does, but just whatever he wants to shoot. What am I doing wrong? If anyone else has had this issue, please jump in.
@@CasmoTV I got it figured out. In the main special settings there's a check box for auto hand off to George and mine was checked. So he will attack what ever he is slaved to automatically. If you uncheck the box it will come up with the little choice window where you can select which target from the direction he's looking. I have got used to it so I may just leave it in auto handoff.
Are you actually getting them to shoot at anything at the start? It looks like you're having them shoot into tree lines at pretend targets while you have a bunch of isis trucks sitting idle at a crossroad.
Yes and no. There are real targets and there are targets that aren’t. But they don’t know the difference. most things aircraft shoot at these days we can’t even see anyhow.
You should really call out the colour of smoke used and have the pilot confirm visual on colour to avoid blue on blue situations. As the mission designer you could try stressing them out some more with danger close scenario's. 👍👍
it's a top-tier wargaming when you C2 and deconflict an Airspace above AO laterally, vertically and timely.. this is a PRIME video👍🏼👆🏼🏹🎯
I just found you on Movers channel and now I'm over here checking this out, liked shared and subscribed.
Welcome to the freak show.
@@CasmoTV I have a pilot friend in Indiana who flys 737s and he enjoys everything I send him that is aviation related and non related as well.

“What can brown do for you?” I don’t miss that particular menu item
DCS needs a JTAC character with 2 radios, rover, m203, compass, dagr, range finder, izlid or some sort of laser, map, atak (optional).
Most of that is in game for the JTAC role.
Thank you for taking the time to make this vid, it was fun.
That was cool to watch heck yeah
Best way to start my morning !
Ok that was awesome. Thanks for posting this. Real awesome to see it from the ground POV. Definitely felt the adrenaline rush. 👍
Wow. Ptsd sim. Cheers.

Yeah afraid I almost never play with myself (George) so I don’t really know how it works beyond a very cursory “mash buttons” level.

That was awesome Casmo! Felt like I was in the AOR!!

I greatly enjoyed this! Did a great job both in game and editing the video, kept the intensity high. You ever incorporate a FAC(A) into your missions?
I have in the past. Probably will in the future campaigns
Yep, I'd say you enjoyed that :) Me too!
this is probly dumb but im gonna ask anyways.. what is bal limit? and how do i get rid off it to fire my weapons?
Ballistic limit. Shooting too far
@@CasmoTV oh thx!
Very nice, is there a way to get the campaign?
No I make it up as I go along.
Where could I download that campaign please?
You can’t. I make it up.
He's essentially "Zeus-ing" the mission, so it's all on the spot

I did that but it wasn’t in the video. Trust me most of them had their hands full already.
