that's all cool, when are you going to send it to mars?
I’m the Perseverance Deputy Mission Manager: Nice job, super impressed!
@Robert Hogg I am a grade 9 student and I am trying to propose a new mission to NASA JPL. It’s like perseverance but slightly more advanced. BTW I love all the hard work you guys put in. I really salute you guys, I have had experience in defense and some NASA projects like the AREE rover in the past. The Mars 2020 is a masterpiece and so unique. Every rover is unique and nothing can replace it only differences in mission objectives and new technologies.
I'm really surprised and so glad to hear this. Thank you very much for the comment, it means a lot!
@@HowToMechatronics I really salute every engineer trying to push the boundaries of humanity. Even though this may be a replica it means a lot to me and people. I believe that anyone can do space it just depends on the idea. Every robot is unique and different and so is the engineer designing it. I love your videos they are sooooooo amazing. Thanks a lot
Very cool.
Give that man a job! Really stunning.
What he did is extremely difficult in design phase. How considerd and predicted all requirements while in design phase itself with such detailed 3D model. He is extremely talented. Salute to him. JPL must hire you to guide them😂
Thank you!
I never realized how the suspension actually works, very interesting, and awesome build. If you're interested in making it drive autonomously, give ROS a go. It is a subsystem implemented in Linux to easily create robot projects. There's also an Arduino library for ROS, so you can implement all the high level software like image recognition, speed regulation, path planning etc. on the host, and offload low level control like the steering, angle calculation, remote control and so on to the Arduino. The host PC and the Arduino will keep in communication with each other via the serial link.
For ROS, it might be better to have the computer running most of the nodes on the robot itself. A Raspberry Pi would work for this and couple replace a lot of the work the Arduino does. Another great solution (though, much more technically challenging) would be to build a custom SoC board which the FPGA fabric handling the connections to the other hardware and the PS running ROS.
@@dyrgewolf Yep, either an on-board PC, or a linked external PC, via WiFi would both work perfectly.
He comes after long. But whatever he makes is always unique, awesome and interesting.
True you are.
Always 99% accurate
I keep trying to find channels like these.
Hidden gold.
You are reaching a whole new level with this project.. As someone who tried to recreate your Mecanum wheel design Fusion, I can only imagine amount of design time, failed prints (I assume there were few) and re-do's when you realize the mistakes later. This is really really impressive..
Thank you! Indeed, there was so much work...
@@HowToMechatronics hey man, im new to this and im trying to replicate your rc car but im not sure how to make my car go forward and backwards, specifically the motors. I also used a different transmitter and reciever so i cant really use the arduino script... any way gou can help?
Your Projects are amazing. At A Moment, I'm in Construction of my Own Rover and your Video and Files are a very Big Help, to understand some Details. I have injured legs, so I can't go everywhere, I want to. So hopefully I can Explore the Nature Around my House with the Rover.
The best project I've ever seen so far. Well done!
you have put unbelivable effort to this!
Well, yeah. It really took me some time and effort to make it.
@@HowToMechatronics Dude where did u studied mechatronics??
I love more complex designs like this ! Especially when you talk about the errors you come across. Keep the great work !
Every project you do is a masterpiece, always clearly and perfectly documented!
You are a genius!
You are a genius man!! Your videos are always a mix of diverse engineering knowledge that I don't know how you got it all man. Well done Sir!!
Thank you!
I’m currently a Second Year University student and As part of my course I’m doing a group project. My aim is to create a solar tracker based rover and this design is perfect for me to be able to implement that. So Thankyou for the in-depth explanation :)
You are true engineer.😀
bouta make a full on country on mars ty for the vid bro appreciate it
Most people watching this can't probably immagine the scale of time that took you to make everything, or at least the amount of effort. For example just simply designing a custom PCB and make it work with all other components without blowing anything up or burning something is a fking great job !!
Keep up the good work, quality content which shows the actual skills and passion!
Thank you! Yes, indeed it took me a lot of time and effort to make this project. Glad someone recognizes it! Cheers!
This is actually a good exercise for someone who wants to get started with cad and 3d prototyping. Excellent work.
Okay but real talk, you are actually one of the most amazing engineer RUclipsrs I know. You are doing like NASA-grade stuff on this channel. I love your channel so much and you've taught me a lot. Thank you so much!
What a legendary work, you never cease to amaze! Our hats off to you, 👍👍
Thank you! 😀
🍻🍻
Hello Dejan!
I've just purchased and downloaded the files for the Perseverance replica and it looks like I'm going to have a good time in building this wonderful work you've done. Please keep me informed on your progress with future additions to this model as I'd like to keep up with you on this.
Thanks again for all your hard work. All of your videos are a great inspiration for people of all ages, even mine (at 66 years old)! :)
(By the way, I'm still working on building your tank as well - you're keeping me busy!).
Best luck man , you are the best eng youtube channel
Beautiful project
This wheel design is absolutely great. 🔥👍
So well explained with no superfluous information. Very motivating to see this video
Wow this is an engineering feat for a single person.
Probably one of the best videos and projects I've ever seen! So incredible!
Incredible project! Congrats! Greetings from CDMX, México 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
You are a genius!!!
you never cease to amaze me, absolute Genius .
finlly the legend returns
It'll take sometime to digest.. incredible work!!
This was awesome dude. You currently inspiring the upcoming engineers . Nice work
Thanks so much. You are back with something extraordinary 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great video and what an awesome project. Iam also a mechatronics student and your project videos and tutorials are really helpful.
That is a large project! Thanks for sharing!
Hi you're one of my first watched RUclips channels........you are a very informative content creator...this was a great video....pls upload videos more often.... all the best.
very well done project from HW to SW development single handedly
Thanks!
Now this' the kinda stuff that made me crave pursuing engineering... Keep on encouraging more of us
You are an amazing engineer my brother. This is beautiful!
Hi i am from india i like to make electronic gadgets am first time watching youar video its wonderfull and very usefull for pepale like me who want to innovate something new
This is the best project. Next weekend I’ll try to make it
I came across this video today and am considering working on it. Did you start working on it already? It will be good to engage with someone who is actively working on a similar project
You are a madman, absolutely stunning project, crazy work !
About time.. Its been a long time seeing my favorite diy builder
We need to support this person and his hard work
Wonderful Creation! details and the quality of the work is astonishing.
This is amazing!
Wow, that's a big project. Looks great.
This is so genius! Your channel is way too underrated
I've been trying to make my own scale model as well, but this gives me a better understanding of how the suspensions should work
Glad to hear it!
did you build it
This is incredible! Such a cool project
Thanks!
Great project, hovering over the buy button for the parts once the arduino code is posted. I was working on a "bigger" higher torque Akerman steering rover using Ardupilot when you posted this. I am looking forward to building this one to learn some lessons before I build the other rover (also based on curiosity's proportions... I like how the rover sits) which is going to have the differential mechanism contained inside the chassis.
after a long time !
Wow, fantastic project, congratulations and thank you for sharing your work! Super excited about this and already thinking of a version running ArduRover for control and navigation and a raspberry pi for computer vision and sensors 🤩.
Thank you very much! Yeah ArduRover control would be cool.
Cool build I hope one day I can build one too for my project
My jaw dropped when I saw this! THIS IS AWSOME!
Totally awesome.. so nice built... good job!!!
Wow man! Your replica is incredible! And it drives exactly like the actual rover :D
Thanks! 😀
i like that suspension type a lot
Please make detailed video of connection plz asap coz we have selected this rover as our college project 🙏❤️☺️
This mars rover is really cool 😎
This is amazing, as usual. Thank you!
fantastic design. thanks for sharing
Hey Dan, after attaching the robotics arm, make it become an agricultural robot (preferably autonomous) for planting seeds and/or irrigation ♥️♥️♥️
if anyone was wondering the camera unit is called the mast on the real rover
WOW, IT IS AMAZING !!
Very cool! It would be a nice platform to combine with computer vision and ardupilot to make it explore its environment.
Ikr lol.
Ive used a pix hawk with a tracked rover to do mission planning with gps and waypoints.
I might do that with this rover one day. It would be quite cool I guess.
@@HowToMechatronics Im working on a full size R2-D2 right now but this is next on my list. Ill be adding the pix hawk.
Amazing project
Exceptionally clever.. ...seriously well done.
Thank you!
Great project!
Glad to hear it, thank you!
I am watching again for I enjoy seeing how you assemble your projects
Glad to hear it! :)
The thing that gets me when he says, we are done with the electronics while all wiring is a mess. Lol. Let's just close that up. Lol. Great job on a project though. 👍🏽
Solidworks?! I was learning how to design the Solidworks. 😎👍
This is the best. 10/10
Wow I am impressed
What is your major study? I mean the university?
@HowToMechatronics me too want to know
Wild guess: Mechatronics.
@@EctoMorpheus yeah I think
Mechatronics engineering ..
I'm a Mechatronics engineer and can't do something like this :(
@@mibrahim4245 wow
I am still a student in the second year of high school.
And I really like electrical and mechanical engineering but I want to study both of them.
My question for you is if I studied mechatronics engineering will I be able to understand both of electrical and mechanical things and be able to make robots or not????
Please answer my question
Brilliant ! That's a lot of work and well executed.
Many thanks!
Wow this is cool
Amazing project
Thanks to you, i have understand the perseverance kinematic
Work of art, well done
Great work man
So innovative, Thanks
Good stuff! I like it!
Looking forward for more interesting machines! Is it intentional, that you are using Torx bits for hexagon socket screws?
I am a engineer and researcher and my department developed a sensor which was also sent to Mars with the perseverance mission. That is a moment which makes proud of being an engineer.
Hey buddy, thanks!
I guess only an engineer can catch details like that. :) I didn't have any intention using them, it's just that I have a Torx bits set.
Oh, that's really nice you hear, that your department had developed a sensor which is currently on Mars.
Cheers!
I wish there would be more content!
By the way, I was wondering if you have any merch with ur logo on it?
Keep the good work!
Amazing project. Thanks for sharing.
A thing of beauty
Thank you very much! :)
Sir. This is amazing! Beyond words. Well done and thanks. Learned a ton from this video.
Glad it was helpful!
Really loved this video☺️
Thanks a lot for such kind of content...
You are mind blowing man.
Wow, another awesome project, well explained!
Thank you!
TPU can be printed on Bowden as well. You do not have or have a direct drive. I print TPU all the time.
Assalam alaikum. this design lacks a tail. It is a kind of mechanical level sensor and counterweight balancer during slipping of the driving wheels and other functions ...
Hey bro! Greetings from Colombia! I just want to say this project it's amazing! I'm a programming teacher in a high school institution here and with some students, I'm working on building a rover model for competition and your model helped us a lot! we changed some parts to make it works to the competition characteristics. I have some questions about the electronics part, could I write to you by other media to solve them? Thanks a lot!
Gr8 work.. keep it up.. also make the ingenuity helicopter to go with the rover and also integrate the rover with the robotic arm you made in one of your previous videos..
Thanks!
this is incredible!!
Very good job, well explained.
Thanks for sharing files
One question I want to ask you make a lot exciting, inspirating, powerful, Fabulous I have no word to describe how inspirational you are....
So how learn to make these things?? Tell about education.
And how I can also do this?
I am from India and I am I High school students
