- In the following video I will describe the process of installing your Motohorn onto your vehicle. This installation video will help anyone who purchases this horn install it on any type of vehicle given there is enough open space for the items to be installed into the front of the vehicle. The directions that come with the kit has a great diagram image where it shows you exactly how to wire the system. Where you mount everything is up to you ! Just remember to mount the horn and compressor in a way that keeps the compressor tube as short as possible !
The things you will need:
-Motohorn: motohorn.com/p...
-Electrical wiring kit: Any autoparts store. www.autozone.c...
-Drill and metal cutting drill bit
-Some extra nuts and bolts would not hurt
4 pin relay: Any auto parts store
-20A - 40A fuse: Any auto parts store
-Spool o 12 or 14 guage wire. Try to do the whole job with 12 guage if possible.
I would appreciate a respectful neighbor like you.
Seems decently loud but doesn't sound anything like a train horn though.
Really need the double horn for the two tones to sound like a train.
Good video
Why did you take out the stock horn? They say to leave it in on the install.
That's alot of Ums.
Les talk show us how u install it
There are installation instructions in the video. The instructions on that paper that I show also display how to wire the system.
Are you sure the amps are enough from old horn? Factory horns are usually less than 10 amps and these horns are 12-18 amps.
It works fine for me. I guess performance could be compared if I upgraded the fuse for the horn to a 20A fuse buts loud enough for me personally
I’m still trying to figure out where to place my two horns on my 21 ram 1500. I really don’t want to take off the grill
Taking off the grill should be easy! Get a panel popper, I've always seen people have goof luck with those things. I know the plastic crap these days always seems to break when you try to do stuff like this haha!
I ended up installing my two horns underneath. I have a video on my channel. By the way the sound really doesn’t do itself justice on video. Trust me it sounds like a train horn and it is loud especially with two
What color is the positive wire on the factory horn?
Good question, It should be red if I remember correctly. And neutral would be black.
@@fishing_enc3343 I got it up and working. I appreciate it. This god damn thing is pretty loud
Save your money that company sucks none of their horns sound how they make them out to in the videos. Check their BBB reviews 1.4/5 stars horrible customer service. I wanted to return mine, but didn’t wanna deal with the hassle. $70 lesson learned
Mine works fine, sounds like people are dumb and can't read directions
@@fishing_enc3343Yeah people are dumb and don’t know how to read comments correctly..
Not a good installer to much uninformative talking.
Um, this video, um, is a very, um slow, um moving video and, um, is very, um hard to, um watch.....
