Teoh, thanks for all the work and thorough reviews, but I'm always concerned with the long term support of those tablets, if there are going to be easily findable nibs, replacement screen protectors or even replacements for a damaged pen or cable in the long run. So I get myself thinking about using another manufacture's replacement parts to broaden the options.
I imagine if the cable works both witts Artisul's and Huion Kamvas Pro displays. Do you still have any Huion pen displays to check if it fits?
Artisul is nowadays a subsidiary of Huion they are expected to share some technology. The stand is a obvious reuse, I have tested and confirm that the N05 pen nib is used by Artisul's pen displays as well as the new Huion pen displays with the battery-free pen PW500/PW507. By the looks alone I think the usb-c connector is the same shape overall so that it would fit both Artisul and Huion and I imagine one could use the same cable to power the small Huions without the need of a power brick. I would guess the Artisul power brick also has the same power standard as the Huion ones only having a different connector. As for the screen protector maybe it is the same overall size as the one from XP-PEN and then you could use those.
If you have time I think that would do for a great video. Who knows maybe even the pens work one the other brand's display, although I think that's the least possible of all guesses.

I think you can't really use D16 Pro cable with Kamvas. Most Huion Kamvas Pen Displays utilize 12V DC for powering them while the USB powered device like this one in the video just using 5V DC only. You better try a USB step up adaptor for converting 5V DC from a decent powerbank to 12V DC . I am currently use one of these adaptor with my Kamvas GT-156HD V2 outdoor without the need for power socket. BTW this D16 Pro just look like the new Gaomon PD156Pro and I think most of their accessories (maybe the pen too) are exchangeable.

I will tell you my experience with this tablet:
      1. Very poor customer support.
      2. Painful lose of time making it work after any software or Operating System update.
      3. Drivers stop working for no reason and requires you lose hours getting back to work, plus slow you down frequently because the pen cursor jump over for no reason
      4. I waited for over 3 months to get a screen protector 😑
      5. Doesn’t work with many software properly, if you do 3D modeling don’t even think to use this tablet for sculpting, and doesn’t work properly with blender
      6. The express keys are limited at setup, you can’t full personalize them
      7. The tablet is really bad and I do not recommend it for pro work or long periods of work because you will end frustrated after a few hours, the tablet will slow you down exponentially, she works when she wants and frequently requires calibration.
      8. The stylus is super cheap, I must to deactivate the pen buttons, because after a month they were totally messed up
      9. The tablet uses 2 types of nibs, the hard nib damage the screen even with screen protector, and the soft nib is like a pencil you need to replace it frequently, and artisul takes time to have supplies and to deliver them
      10. The more important price, actual price on amazon is $349 versus the Wacom cintiq at $479, a difference of $160, but if you are pro artist or willing to be, don’t make my mistake wasting money and time on this or any other like huion, xp pen etc, I already tried them and end buying the cintiq.

@@eduardoblanco1975 That's hogwash, and I assume you're a bot, or paid representative. I've had my XP-Pens for almost 3 years and they've held up amazingly. As for customer service, XP-Pen is just little above average, nothing special. Artisul on the other hand - their customer service is . . . . "serviceable". I had a Artisul Pencil Medium (they don't make these anymore - for a reason you're about to hear), and while it was marketed to be extra thin and light, I should have understood that it being a very easy-to-bend matte surface on top of some foam meant that it would break easily --- however, it wasn't the build of the surface or the entire body that was prone to breaking - it was the usb port. After taking the cable out and inserting it back into the port a few times over a few months, the port would be pushed inward in a way that would make the tablet not connect to my laptop. Durability was a known issue but I didn't know it was like that. I sent mine in for repair and was sent a new replacement tablet after 3-4 weeks of waiting. This time i kept it connect to my laptop at all times - and that would've worked if i had a desk. Needless to say, 4 months in I tripped over the cord. It was time to get something new. It's strange though, because no other Artisul device was ever noted to have any bugs, durability issues, or anything of the like.
It's unfortunate, but it is what it is. While you can point at brands all you like, Wacoms have had these problems as well, as noted on their own site and on reddit. You were one of the lucky ones - just like how you were an unlucky one with the other brands.
Assuming your Wacom hasn't messed up already, considering your luck.

Hm, I bought the pen display and it works, but somehow the driver doesn't look like it does in the video and I can't adjust anything, the pen is offset and it doesn't work to synchronize the pan display with photoshop, for a moment it's like a second screen on which everything from the laptop (macbook) is duplicated. I have no idea what's going on.

the orignail D16 was better than the current version but maybe not the Pro tbh. The brand had potential but you can't just ghost your customers. That's why XP-Pen came out of nowhere and took their place. The craziest thing is that now people don't even remember Artisul. Ya hate to see it.

Hi Teoh! I suppose you don’t work with animation and thus don’t have the programs I’m going to mention here. But do you know if it works well with Toon Boom Harmony or TVPaint? Or even Adobe Animate and After Effects? I’m so interest in buying an Artisul tablet but if it can’t work with these softwares it’s going to be basically useless for me. No one on RUclips seem interested in testing it with these softwares, not even the few animation channels I’ve found that reviewed Artisul tablets, and I just don’t know why, since they are the most used animation softwares on the market 😥

Thank you for the update. Does the tablet allow for mounting? I own the previous D16 which does not have it, but I've seen some other 16 inch tablets with it. Aside from that, I've heard that the D16 has once of the best pen performance. Now that it has a laminated display, how much better would you say drawing on it is? I always struggled to make lines with it at times.

Actually nowadays PCs are quite powerful. Anything you get will be able to run digital art software comfortably. Main thing to note is to get SSD for storage and at least 8GB memory (16GB better). Quad core processors if you have the budget.
