If you remember drifter mentions that "damned horse" in past cutscenes and as Evan showed here in the vid orin tells him to keep playing the game. As with trials of the 9 gambit and now dares of eternity the 9 are always in some way shape or form watching the gaurdians fight. Initially I was under the inpression the game orin was speaking of was gambit but now I think the game she and the 9 have been referring to is the game of the gardener and the winower. And the stronger we get as we go and the more rules we break along the way shows the 9 that we are in fact starting to become the final shape in the universe. I believe the 9 are in fact the planets and the reason they hold so much interest in the gaurdians is bc the universe could be destroyed by the enemies of the traveler. The planets at birth were made of dust anf when the 1st generational star went super nova it created elements up to 26 on the periodic table then when the 2nd generational star went super nova it gave us up to 92 on the periodic table so the "bad group" out of the 9 wanting to learn how to become human could be a reference to what could happen when the 3rd generational star (Sol aka our sun) finally goes super nova and creates new stable elements . those elements could breathe life into the planets due to the mixing of blood from life and dust from the universe.
I don’t know what the Starhorse is exactly but I think the Nine have been observing humans for a very long time. They’ve seen us use domesticated animals like this to ride, for agriculture and to help transport. So the image of a horse is a positive one, meant to demonstrate assistance.
@@abdoul5176 wasn't truly that clear back then. the Lore was still growing since the launch of this franchise, yeah. but then, [Shadowkeep] Lore updated the characters, our enemies' scope, Golden Age races (especially our own), the real scale of the bigger Vex's, etc....

Will dares still be available after the Witch Queen dlc comes out cause I am trying to get the tiger looking helmet that a friend got for resetting their xur or dares rank. PS will the 30th anniversary pack be available after the Witch Queen dlc
Just a heads up, i kno it's not like that crazy or a big deal, but when u said the weapons from halo were from "another" universe they actually reside within the same universe. There's even an old dialogue on a scan where your ghost talks about tryin to wake up master chief but he declines saying "he's fought enough wars for a lifetime." It's some really cool shit lol
Uhhh this is all wrong. The weapons we found are in fact from another timeline. Xur even confirms it. And it was never said to be master chief in that pod in the colony ship. It was just a fun Easter egg never meant to be anything big. Master chief is not in the Destiny timeline.
What my boy up there said. The "master chief" pod is just a reference. It might as well apply to doomguy and any other action game out there, we just know it's a nod to chief because of the dev being Bungie and finding it upon scanning a cryopod. The crypod we investigate to get the Forerunner on the other hand is actually heavily implied to belong to the halo universe and was transported to Destiny's. The term paraverse means universes different, not parallel or alternate, than the other.
Maybe they are training us for something bigger, dares throws 6 guardians in a ‘arena’ and we must fight all that opposes us. Maybe the 9 are doing it to find out who the most powerful species are ? They make us fight different people each time from the vex to fallen etc. they then make us face powerful opponents at the end. If we win we get rewards. Why would that be ? They don’t reward us if we fail. They want to make us the best that they can soo we become more powerful. Maybe the drifter is on it. He himself could be training us for a much bigger threat were only the most powerful will win. Hence the different opponents in dares. Xur comes weekly to give us fresh loot and this maybe to help us improve and get better. He apologises for making us do dares and is genuinely looking out for us. The horse is in our favour hence the ‘hourses favour’. They just want to see who is the best. This is my opinion please don’t hate
Myth, Marathon, Paths Into Darkness and a timeline adjacent to Halo are all part of a connected multiverse. If Bungie still had rights to Halo or could cut a deal with 343, then Halo would be more firmly part of this collective.
Based on the transcendent descriptions (hourglass and Blade) it can be assumed that when the nine choose someone they see a horse The hourglass counting down with infinite patience is clearly the Witness 🔻 🔺️ The Witness likely has the horse statues as a means of remembering its interaction with the nine and its purpose
Represents the idea of ride our universe as a individual entity who can ride alternative realities or universe's, not so many can... normies... is like if you dont break the rules or play games you are a regular human, you are an outlaw, you ride the paraversal horse🤷♂️

Oh wow.. and I just want to shoot aliens with cool weapons and get loot.
as Xur once said "absolutely bonkers"
*utterly bonkers, and he was only translating starhorse.
I don’t know what the Starhorse is exactly but I think the Nine have been observing humans for a very long time. They’ve seen us use domesticated animals like this to ride, for agriculture and to help transport. So the image of a horse is a positive one, meant to demonstrate assistance.
The horse is a horse of course, of course.
Unless it's Starhorse Ed!
“Respectful snort” I bursted out laughing
I like the reference he mentions after failing the final boss door guessing phase " did you remember to say no wammy's."
Its Xur's patronus charm
The horse seriously needs new sound effects. Does not sound like a pleasant horse to hear
Unwillingly assembled from our studio audience the taken !
my favorite line, along with the spaying and nutering your ghost one
I haven’t play destiny in like 3 years but Xur is the man. “My will is not my own”
Reminds me of the blue horse, the "Bluecifer", at Denver's airport. So much illuminati vibe here.
When you shoot at Xur the bullets go straight through but when you shoot the horse they bounce off. Is XUr actually there?
I love the Aphelion. The mystery is intriguing.
They did something like this in the Netflix Voltron series as well
What do you mean
When we first played Dares it had a Charly in the Chocolate Factory theme. lol You have all signed your wavers. Then the theme song played. lol
Star horse could also be a reference to Dark Horse from the dragonrealms :)
If your ghost is bumping uglies with another guardians ghost is that a clear indication you need to hook up?
Ghosts spayed or neutered is from price is right. Sickness made me stupid for a min. Corrected per dann. GJ
It's from The Price is Right. It's how Bob Barker used to sign off every episode.
considering paraverses are just one Speck of a feat within the vast other [Flowers] of Destiny's connected-cosmologies....
For real its like Destiny's canon has enough to it to encompass all of fiction and then some.

i just wish they would ad a shader that has all those glittery affects imagine having that on your cloak 🤤
They do have something similar with the Seven Sisters shader
they had the Taken armour set in D1. I want that back - without the wing helmet for titans.
Here's the thing I don't know if the ghost can actually reproduce its highly unlikely but maybe there's a chance they could
what about Xur's line "If you are still here, the Nine are not done with you, yet."

A Paracausal "Gift Horse".... like from the saying, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" which I don't really understand.

@@jeffmuller1489 makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.
I once heard Xur say Osiris is not in the lighthouse.
So basically the paraverse is how we get crossover weapons and armor
What's the deal with the grounded frozen pyramid ship in the far background of the Cabal end game on Dares to Eternity?
Not sure if it's been confirmed, but I think Starhorse's voice actor is the same as Xur's

nah, unless you like throwing money away that is
Sandbox is great, Bungie is avoiding extreme nerfs, and witch queen coming.
It feels like they are actually trying with the content again like back in forsaken
Only if you have the money. Game is not worthy without DLCs and seasons.
Juan
Lots of... wishes being fulfilled by this game...
So wait I got my ghost neutered thinking I was responsible owner and it was all a joke my poor ghost with his cone of shame won’t be happy 🤣😂🤣😂

Bungie, let me pet Star Horse. D:
Yea but Juan
Star horse = celestial steed from World of Warcraft. It's an Easter egg.
Babe wake up, evade posted!
It do be like that
Whos stronger star horse or the witness
Honestly, probably starhorse. But the nine usually are not allowed to interfere
How do you get that emblem?
I was just wondering that myself
Paraverse/dimension hub? Did bungie get inspired by valve? With half life, the border world called xen?
So does this mean that halo is somewhat related to the destiny universe?
Yes and no but yes. Maybe no. Maybe yes

The star horse has bad human horse sounds.....LOL
