One of my favorite Rush instrumentals, especially lately for some reason. I love the moody, intense feeling of it and watching them do it live in concert is mesmerizing.
Same for me. I totally slept on it when S&A came out - hell I even saw the tour live at the Phoenix stop, and it was played here, and I STILL slept on it - until relatively recently. Now it's my #1 Rush instrumental.
They should have won a Grammy for best Rock Instrumental. But they are above that because we all know in our hearts they are the GOATS of their own genre... RIP Professor❤🩹
@@cpmf2112 Rush had 7 Grammy nominations (6 for instrumentals) with zero wins. Joe Satriani has so far had 15 nominations and also has zero wins. It seems that some artists will never win no matter how many times they are nominated.
Saw them 36x live ! Never disappointed. U got to check out Counterparts album. After 45 yrs it's my favorite album. Cut to the Chase and Alein Shore are my favorite on it.
You may be right. And I love Stick it Out. They released it the same day as Pearl Jam's VS., which is what I was at the store to buy. I saw this on the counter and bought it, too. Guess which one got played first. Yep, and I still listen to Counterparts. VS? Not so much.
Fun Fact : Alex Lifeson was the Inventor of the Acoustic Guitar Stand he's using on stage. Way back in late 1977... Kinda' funny no one else in the Guitar community up to that point in history ever came up with this solution. He's a Genius for that invention alone. Alex is a bad MF'er and time and tides will prove his legacy...
All of Rush's instrumentals are awesome. I'm not sure if I'd rate YYZ lowest, but I have a hard time rating Moving Pictures songs because most of them have been played zillions of times, other than The Camera Eye.
Whatever you want to call what they had it will never be duplicated! It can’t be.
Took my son to this tour. He was like 12 or so. Some drunk guy said I was the coolest dad ever. That was a great day!

Does anyone remember Behind My Camel now? 🙄

Hardcore fan for over 45 years and I too think this is “better” than YYZ😮🇨🇦🇨🇦
2007 Tampa Florida I saw this played live. This is so technically perfect it's unreal they do it live. Greatest band ever!
Awesome. That means you two, and a definite thankyou.
Thank you, James. One my all-time favorites from the Boys. 🤘🎸🥁❤🔥🐒🐔
I don't see Jacob's Ladder in your Rush playlist. For a long time, it was the most requested song to hear live by Rush fans. Its a must.
I've requested Jacob's Ladder. R40 Las Vegas. 🤘❤🔥🔥

Counterparts is great. Better than all their 70's stuff IMO.

When it comes to rock music, Rush are the top banana.
They are the Milton Banana!
Rush best band ever!!! You guys imo best reaction videos ever! Thank you!!!
Alex's guitar tone is so pretty.
It's Rush....of course it's great !
❤❤❤
Always outstanding performances by the best! RUSH!
Saw this performed on Tour! 🤗 Fan favorite! 🥰🐰
They never disappoint!
Long live Rush!
Banger !!! Great reaction as always
the amazing part is they hit very note live as they do in the album, to say they're well practiced is a true understatement
La Villa, YYZ, and Leave that thing alone are my faves.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO GREAT REACTION!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ Psalm 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

They are a different breed of band.
Great! My favorite Rush instrumental! Great album too
For me Snakes & Arrows is the best of the post-2000 albums, and this song is one of the reasons why.
The BEST
RUSH is just .......RUSH!
My favorite instrumental as of today is Limbo off of Test For Echo
That's my least favorite. lol Just goes to show how good all the Rush instrumentals are:)
❤
Madison Square Garden some years ago. Best show ever
You guys are awesome!
Avenged againt Live in LBC
Please react to Owen McKinley’s drum cover of Tool Triad!!
the new Opeth is out btw.
Next go for this song: by the pain I see in others
Geddy ripping bass lines and playing feet synths again…. He’s like…no vocals? This is easy!
alex terrible has a new live one take of demolisher!!!! check it ouuuut!!!!
I will always maintain the hot take that YYZ is their worst instrumental, and that's saying something if YYZ of all of songs is the worst one.

Limbo is the worst for me and it's still great.
Theirs a better video of Alex switching guitars.
