Became a funded FTMO trader, i knew i could do it, very excited to use that scaling plan and get 25% balance increase every 4 months.
Started my challenge today you can be a good trader but what's important is psychology..

What does it mean when it says "minimum trading days 10", when the number of days they traded are all over 10 days? Does it have to be less than 10 days or does it not matter?? Thanks!!

And I thank you for this question. The minimum requirement to pass the FTMO Challenge is to trade for at least 10 trading days (doesn’t need to be consecutive).The minimum requirement to pass the Verification is also to trade for at least 10 trading days (doesn’t need to be consecutive).
This means that you can finish the 30 days FTMO Challenge in just 10 days. Or for example in 15 days, with 5 day pauses with zero order. Or you can meet the rest of all Trading Objectives in just your first day, and then in the rest 9 days you will just have to make 0,01 lot order, so, 9 orders of the volume 0,01 lot on each day up to 10. day of trading.
Including the Verification phase you can become funded as soon as in 20 trading days.

Your fee is refundable after your first withdrawal from your profit split payment. If you violate during the FTMO Challenge one of the Trading Objective, we cannot refund your fee.

it is up to you how many challenges you would try, just remember: Maximum funding capital that we offer is up to 300 000USD per one client.

Why is the spread on XAUUSD so high compared to other brokers? I just downloaded the demo and it’s showing the spread at 40 wow. Compared to others it’s usually 25 and below.

one question , lets say I trade the funded account 100k for 2 years and max loss limit reach 6000k over this 2 year but I still profitable ,, and my account now around 125k what is the max loss limit would be now at this situation ? Thanks
Hi Hosam,
In this example your max loss for standard account would be a loss down to 90 000USD. That is your limit. If you let your account grow from 100 000USD to 250 000USD, you will be violating Max Loss with a loss down to more than 90 000USD. Be aware not to violate other Trading Objectives.

You need to your profit target without your account equity ever dropping below 90% of its initial capital. On a $50,000 account, that means reaching $55,000 (with 10% profit target account) while your account equity should never drop below $45,000. To learn more about the Maximum loss rule, you can click here: ftmo.com/en/welcome/#maximum-loss
On a $50,000 account you don't need to collect the profit split and you can decide to grow your capital, so, for example If your current capital is $75,000 because you have never collected profit split, you would violate maximum loss by decreasing your capital down to $45,000. Of course keep in mind that you have to also meet the max daily loss:

@@salahahmedabshir1485 You will get the refund with your first profit split if you make some profit for the first 30 days of FTMO funded trader and For the withdrawal its every calendar day of the month For Example if you start at 17 Nov it will always be 17 of every Month. Hope that helps

You say you want to replicate the real market, but you don't.
I can hedge on your platforms but not in the real market.
In the real market, it is only during news or not illiquidity that there are slippage not all the times...
And on facebook people say about problems withdraw.
two comments. first, it would be interesting to see an histogram of the time duration of trades. second, there could be a bonferroni effect by which if you have one thousand traders a random fluctuation could favor a dozen of random traders. so, how many traders in percent are consistently in profit every month?

@@vitelot there is a video where they responded to your question. The very important tip you need to know is this: don't push yourself into a big drawdown, because when the challenge period ends and your account balance is positive you can always get another free repeat.
@@chrismendel2429 thank you indeed. I'm genuinely curious and still cannot solve a problem in my mind concerning this kind of funding companies. I'm convinced they represent an opportunity for everyone, but still my doubt is the following. If I had such a company I would try to acquire as many good traders as possible. therefore I would remove the challenge fee and guarantee free access. After a while I would check who is constantly profitable in an automated way. If this is not done in reality, I get the doubt that almost no one is consistently profitable and the fee is the main income of the company. For example, if I know that statistically one per cent of traders is profitable, I would set the challenge fee to be a bit more of one per cent of the funded capital. Now, you know of much the fee is and you can get an idea of how many traders are really profitable, pretty low indeed. This is what stops me mainly. My goal now is to double my paper account using the same strategy, but no one ensures me that this will hold in the future. At the very end I really do not know whether there exist any profitable retail traders overall.
@@vitelot Personally I don't think the fee is their source of income because it is refundable, and after 30 days if you cannot make it you still get a free repeat. Just do whatever it takes to be in the 1% everyone is talking. After reading a lot about trading, i have discovered that many people don't respect the laws of trading. Everyone wants to be a successful trader overnight. Just thinking about any profession, when you apply for a job there is thing called "experience". The more years of experience you have in your bag, the better. A lot of people are willing to invest their money into trading but not their time (education).

It is totally up to you how much from your profit split you want to get and how much you will leave on your account to grow your capital for further trading.

So I find it easier to make 100% a day on my flip account of £300 than I do to make 15% to pass the challenge in 20 days 😂 I think it's all physiological

Hey FTMO you all should do a video explaining how you do NOT refund FTMO traders that have negative equity their first month even though it is stated that FTMO traders receive a refund on profit split day, even though you all also state that the company takes on the traders losses... Then cease email communication
You only get a refund of your challenge fee once you are able to turn a profit on the account, no profit, no profit split or refund
this is pretty obvious and stated in the terms and conditions... comments section full of butthurt people that failed 😅
