The best hack for replacing those snaped fir-tree clip holders in the door card is to flatten off the remains with a sharp knife, then screw in a Bugle Head Drywall Screw, and the new fir-tree clip will fit perfectly and be even more secure than the original. The door card is deep enough for a 1 or 2-inch screw (I can never remember which size it is, so best to check first). It's a dead simple fix for what can be a very frustrating problem. Loving the channel - but I end up spending money every time I watch a video!
Great video . I’m looking at upgrading my interior and would love a video on the difference on the center consoles that LR Parts offers from the cheapest up. They all look the same online .
On the door card repair ... I just use a die grinder to buzz down the broken bit to make it flat, then drill a small hole and insert a small stainless screw with suitable head for the fur tree clip to slot into - leaving the screw protruding enough for the fur tree to slide on. There is plenty of 'meat' behind to take the screw and its a cheap and simple repair. No glue and the fur tree can still push all the way home onto the door.
Great videos. Looking for cheap parts like wiring harness power steering pump brake booster master cylinder clutch master/slave etc for 1986 2.5 petrol 110 HiCap

Thats a neat solution
Very good video! Do the vent gaskets, being foam rubber, soak up water and cause corrosion on the vent lids and bulkhead? Chris B.
No, they're dual density. So solid foam to prevent ingress and a layer of looser foam to allow compression.

Could you zinc coat the standard LR bumper bolts to help stop them rotting ?
Possibly. Don't know if that would affect the threads? Good idea though.
