👉 Learn how to optimise your Google Ads campaign CORRECTLY with my FREE Google Ads Optimisation Checklist: www.definedigitalacademy.com/google-ads-checklist
I am going through this whole series. The content here is very high level. I will be in the paid course too. If this is what the free content is, the paid content has to be top tier.
Hello, one of the best practice you suggest in one of your videos is to increase budget until impression share is 65% and then stop. Is there a similar metric for Pmax to know when to stop with budget? Thanks
Thanks, my friend! I love the article. I can suggest WASK for unprofessional advertisers. I am using it to optimize my Google ads because I am a beginner lever advertiser. Sometimes, I can’t understand what wrong is with my ads. So, firstly, I am taking help from WASK smart advice feature. And if I cant fix it again, I let the optimization feature work for me. It is pretty good, my conversions have increased since I started to use the optimization tool of WASK.
Thank you for the tips and the optimization checklist. Super helpful! In #4 of the checklist, it says to review new potential audiences to add. How do I do that? There are no suggestions/recommendations from Google so I am not sure where to start with this. I already have some audience segments selected thanks to you. But where would I review new ones to add?
Hello, you suggest bid adjusting in demographics, audiences, devices, hours of the day, etc but that can be done only when biddig is manual, is that correct?. Most of the time bidding is automated now and there is no possibility to intervene with bidding adjustment, apart from device... AB texting for ads, I believe that can be done via experiments as well? Last question, which is the maximum number of keywords in an adgroup?
Most of our conversions are from website chat and there’s no way to track these conversions … so this gave me a very high cost per conversion as it only record web form submission and phone clicks so what to do in this case and also for legal / Law firm niche what is the best bidding strategy you recommend?
That's a great video Aaron! When you find a winning long tail keyword from your search terms report how do you use that? Do you add it to a different ad group or in an appropriate one and which match type do you usually use for that keyword?
Thank you very much for the great tips Aaron🙏 Question, about the Search Impression %. Currently, my %s are 14% and 18% for two campaigns. Should I increase the budget for them? or is there a different way to increase this number? My budget is $16 for each campaign. Thank you very much, Andrey
Hi Aaron, My campaigns with the highest search impression share (more than 95%) are spending the most with the least conversions.. what do you think the problem is
@@AaronYoungGoogleAds Hi Aaron, I actually have the same question. Just quick follow up question from me. Since this a/b test, we should consider both ads for testing is starting to run at the same time, right? So, in your case we paused the old one and create two new ads? cmiiw
Shout out to me Dennis Ritchie for the idea of this video! lol (I wish that were the case) Still enjoying all of your vids Aaron and we will be in touch soon! I have a pretty cool thing to shoot back at ya!

Hi Aaron, great video as always! I do have a question. I'm currently running a search campaign for a new online shop. I've started with maximize clicks to first get some data and actually got a lot of clicks and one sale after the first week. After the first week google recommended to switch to maximize conversions because "there is enough data" to do so. After I did that, the amount of impression and clicks dropped significantly. Got another 3 conversions during the first month but the campaign wasn't profitable at this point. All conversions came from the same phrase match keyword. Do you have any suggestion for me?
Hello Marlon, congratulations on the conversions. It is normal for the clicks and impressions to drop after switching to max conversions. You could try: - Given that all conversions have come from 1 phrase match KW put this into a different campaign or ad group - Review the Google analytics data to see which KW themes are giving you the best “average session time” and highest “pages per session” - Review demographics to see which age & income groupings have the best conversion rates

@@AaronYoungGoogleAds thank you, I appreciate your help! Going to check all this now. 👍
@ It is indeed very normal for a spike to occur in the delivery of the ad. Since there was a big change like changing the bid strategy. The system needs some time to get back on it’s feet. This may also occur when you lowered the bid or increased the bid by a large increment. Usually within 1-2 days the ads should be getting back up. Although there are many sorts of ad types this could differ even up to 3 days depending on the type. I work as Support for Ads.

Hi Fazla, I usually add it to the best suited Ad Group - as long as it is the same theme - as an exact match or phrase match KW
Amazing Tips ! Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks dear sir... From Pakistan

You have to review your ad copy and target audience
Sir I am following you quite a long do you have any full-fledged Google ad optimization and strategy course
please create tutorial for web hosting platforms
For split testing, do you edit on the ad copies or you create new ad copies, even though is just for one headline changes? Thanks in advance.
Hi Angie, I create new ads and the pause the under performing ad. This is so I can review the history of my split tests
@@AaronYoungGoogleAds thanks!

@@AaronYoungGoogleAds For split texting are also experiments recommended?
How long do you suggest to run a split test?
At least 30 days for search ads. All the best
Hi, how do we do regular search term audits in P-MAX? Do we just go into assets and remove keywords ?
Unfortunately you can’t do proper search terms audits in Performance Max Campaigns.
