This amazing place is the world's largest free flight aviary and bird sanctuary, located in the Garden Route, near Plettenberg Bay in the Western Cape, South Africa. (Near Cape Town and Wilderness). The mesh dome of the sanctuary was built over 2.3 hectares of indigenous forest, and is up to 180 ft above ground level. 1.2 kilometres of walkways, about 75% of which are elevated, let visitors see the birds at all levels of the aviary. Birds of Eden is one of the four Sanctuaries under The South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance (SAASA). As a member of SAASA Birds of Eden was honoured with four major tourism awards in 2014. The four awards are namely the Lilizela Tourism Visitor Experience of the Year Award at a 'Wildlife Encounters', the Skål International Sustainable Tourism Award, Overall winner of the World Responsible Tourism Award as well as the Gold Award in World Responsible Tourism in the category of 'Best Animal Welfare Initiative'

They must never get hail, severe winds or heavy snow in that part of Africa. Eden indeed. It's a true paradise.
Snow is not a thing in that part of South Africa. Really great weather for most of the year and rainy during winter months.

Just to let you know the bird you thought was a secretary was a Lady Amethyst Pheasant and the gold/yellow one is a Golden Pheasant

@@AltLiving I have two I have a Nikon D500 (with a 150-600mm lens) for wildlife and also a Nikon D3500 which I use for car photography/videos
