Foundry is my favorite. They really value the customer in terms of service and what you get for your money. Anytime a new version comes out, you just get it. There's no upgrade costs or any of that nonsense. Even if you don't have the base for say pathfinder, they offer very basic, tokens that you can access so that the functionality of your games work. In a world where microtransactions and squeezing the community for every penny they can, that is a very refreshing experience.
As far as tracking HP, initiative, etc in combat I think it is eventually going to be integrated with Beyonds "encounter builder" feature which tracks all of that.
Too little too late IMHO for WotC. Foundry has already done everything they should have and the community is more nimble and creative than anything they will be able to deliver.
I subbed to the maps and bought the Stormwreck Isle. On my browser the maps was very small barely readable. Tokens wouldn't load. Extremely disappointed. Their VTT seemed more like a project someone did in an afternoon.
This looks typical of the quality of products I expect from hasbro….pretty poor, and not very competitive. I doubt they will ever catch up. Better to look elsewhere.
