@A S The hell kind of broccoli are you buying for £1.80? Broccoli is 50-60p in most places. Even organic is not that much. But I do agree with you, I spend £100 a week (for 5) and almost all of that is meat, fruit, veg and salad. I spend way more on fruit and veg than I do on meat. Also, a piece of fruit is not a meal in the way that a packet of noodles or some pasta and sauce is.

For a lot of people, eating those foods is everyday life because that’s all they can afford and to have people make out that cheap food isn’t good or makes them feel sick etc etc probably doesn’t make them feel great about themselves and their situation. x

This is awesome nobody believes that you can live cheap there was a point where my family went through a really bad time with job pay and my mum managed to feed all 6 of us on only £10 for a whole week it's not always ideal but when you have barely any money you realise how much you appreciate it (not to mention some savers items taste better than the branded stuff😂)

Yeah, I think that is such a stereotypical assumption people have about youtubers, and the ones who usually make these videos usually complain about how boring/samey all the food is but I like that you actually made the most of it and didn't act disgusted by it like them. Xx

Would be really cool to see this done again but with a tiny bit more cooking, i.e. adding mixed frozen veges to the instant noodles or making pasta with frozen veges, dried pasta shells and sauce and also if you could do a nutrition break down in cronometer or some other macro tracking app just to see if people who are living this way are actually meeting all their nutritional needs. :)
I buy from Tesco and I buy some Tesco own brand products and most of them taste exactly the same as branded stuff! However I always make sure I buy quality meat, eggs, milk. Anything that comes from an animal. Simply because I believe the better quality stuff would have been reared better. If that makes sense.
