I restarted my phone and the security codes popped up. I got access to my account now. Try restarting your phone if you didn't receive the text.

I got to receive codes on my current number as SMARTTECKO on IG has help me reset the account mobile. Taught it was impossible to get that done as play station couldn't help

Man I got desperate. I no longer had my old phone number. I did everything ended up with nothing. So I called my old phone number and a random guy answered, he ended up giving me my verification code. Like what a relief.

No... You still need a verification code to even log into your account online as well. You can't make a backup code without being able to sign in online...

So you would have activated with your mobile phone right? you should receive the verification code in your mobile number. if you have not logged in? have you logged in already with your playstation account? for example, in your computer, laptop, or mobile phone? there you can take backup code.

You will have to live chat with PS customer support. They willl verify your serial number on Playstation then disable 2 step verification. Good luck.

Edit: I remember adding 2-Step Verification with my mobile # (and it worked while I set it up), but afterwards my phone would not receive any codes when I needed to sign in.

do you have backup code? or do you have already signed in with your computer or mobile. if backup code not taken, you can take codes from already signed in devices or computer

I just recently paid for my new PlayStation network for a year, and then signed me out and asked me to sign back in and my user and pass code works but I can't get past the second verification.. it's not sending me a passcode I did the whole thing where you reset your phone it's not working. i think we could not use others backup code, because that codes is generated from console, so it would not be recognized.
