What a stunning remake! The attention to detail is immediately apparent, even with little things like the way the overworld sprites transform into their full battle sprites. The demo looks like it's on the level of Mother 3 (maybe beyond 😬). I'm officially hyped to finally play Mother 1 for the first time.

I agree! I was blown away by the attention to detail, especially the battle sprites. After recently beating Mother 1, using a "balancing hack", playing Mother Encore would be the way I recommend to play Mother from here on out.
