I understood how this special attack(dark pulse) works, actually when you activate this attack your press is ignored and you have to choose a place and wait or attack with another special attack at the same time and then you can press the one that you can already get out of or wait until it ends itself while you choose which hole to crawl out of
in short about dark pule move: press once on dark pulse then ignore dark pulse and use another special attack(shadow claw) and at the same time choosing holes, in the second stage you can already get out or continue to attack with a special attack until the time is up
and by the way you are only given 2 chances to hit someone with the special attack shadow claw during dark pulse so be careful with this special attack, it is better to use it when shadow claw is recharged but there is also a good plus that the opponents do not know where you will crawl out from so this is a great move for retreating or your sudden attacks on opponents. I will be honest dark pulse is a much more difficult special attack than zoroark's special attack
So Darkrai let's you 1v1 an enemy of your choice? That's amazing for going up against grouped opponents who defend their carry like they're playing Mr. President.

dark pulse move was most likely bugged, he was trying to click to activate early and looked pretty confused so dark pulse will be WAY more annoying

The way Dark Pulse seems to work is that it is on a timer before you can pop out and attack, shown by the blue circle around the move. During that time you can attack with Shadow Claw twice which will pop out of the selected area. You can only attack normally with Dark Pulse once the timer runs out, then on the second activation after that, you can activate it manually to choose which hole Darkrai will emerge from.

Darkrai has DotA 2 Void Spirit move copy and pasted for Dark Pulse, lol. I love it. 😹 Void Spirit is super fun, new main obtained. 😎

idk if eevee had issues with dark pulse but on official announce you can see dark pulse move being faster than eevee illustrated here

For those who don’t know, darkrai has legs due to the anime and the film. Just wanted to let those know, anyways, yeah I love the short king lol it just sucks he has point and click in his kit and looks a bit unfun to go against but seems still pretty fun and maybe they can change him to be balanced.
Why it is so hard for TiMi to create characters without Point&Click moves?
Imo Darkrai has to be one of the most toxic releases i've ever seen in this game.
It's gonna be super toxic and I love it. Have fun protecting your carry once I drag them into the shadow realm with me.
Guess the only way to fight back Darkrai during his Unite Move will be buying time. I mean, it gives a zero-damage status but not untouchable, so spam every single drag-and-push and/or dash move you have.
Now I can imagine Buzzwole comically fighting the Nightmare with Superpower.

Imagine if Bad Dreams(Darkrai's passive) healed it for whoever it puts to sleep tho....bro would have been nigh immortal....maybe. And add the reduced damage it takes when it puts someone to sleep too....dear lord that sounds a bit crazy

For Dark Pulse i think i understand how they want it to work, but I think they are still working on it:
So the first cast is the sash then there's a timer, during which you can choose a circle, when the timer runs out then you release a pulse (doesn't seem like you can cast it early, it is just timed). After this, the icon changes and then you can choose to come out early or let it time out (this ends the move) so it has two instances of damage
Shadow claws interaction with it seems interesting (cause I think you can cast it 2x regardless if you bit something or not; but I think he used it more than 2x so 🤷🏾♂️)
Either way... Darkrai looks scary
And that Ult
havent been so excited for a new release since zoroark, darkrai is so cool, finally some cool new mechanics, his unite is so good, no more diving their backline and getting permastunned by their entire team, his boosted autos being nails that drop on enemies is so cool and does a lot of dmg, shadow claw + dark pulse looks so fun too, cant wait for the release.
Just noticed that Pokemon dying due to his unite automatic DMG doesn't give him KO but instead the last Pokemon who hit it other than Darkrai gets ko

Dark Cry's unite move looks absolutely toxic! Being able to put enemies in their own void with no counterplay is insane. Definitely going to be a game-changer in battles!
Donno if it has no counterplay yet, if it's like Mordekaiser ultimate any anti-cc passive or skill can cancel the ultimate because the ultimate has slow cc donno about Darkrai tho

Darkrai is about to carry ray fights. He can just ult a squishy attacker, survive the teamfight and come back to fighting ray after healing .

Nah bro! It clearly lacks damage, a level 8 darkrai shadow claw + dark pulse left a level 4 froakie with more than 50% hp, compare it with haunter combo. It's looks like it's a setup assassin, but bro literally those guys can walk out of of the dark pulse. I don't see how it'll over powered yet 😂😂😂.

darkrai gonna be very strong u just need to know how to use it. remember when zoroark and dodrio got leaked, we were like meh this ones boring. but then we have to remember these are expert level difficulty mons. the japanese will be cooking with darkrai

Aegislash is probably the best pkmn in 1v1, Darkrai could be similar to it(beeing strong in 1v1 but losing hard to teamfights)
