i was in this ill tell you what was happening at different times 0:00 my brother Ryan my little brother Alex and my sister Rachel were all playing my big brother Ryan was playing elder scrolls morrowind 0:39 i was going to get the radio because i was worried i went to the attic by the way when the tornado siren went off you were at Walmart which was a few blocks from where i lived i lived on dean street so i was getting the radio 0:52 i picked up the radio to bring to the living room 0:56 i stopped to listen 0:57 i yelled TORNADO!!!! jumped down the stairs came down to my siblings freaking out i was too because im with my idiot brothers and sister WITH NONE OF MY PARENTS HOME!!! AND NO PHONE TO CALL WITH TO MAKE IT WORSE BASEMENT WAS LOCKED!!!! 1:03 everyone ran around and i opend the door to see if i was right 1:14 my brother was texting my dad at work in Chicago about whats going on he said get in the basement which is locked lol then i say something from Lego movie saying this is not how bat man dies and i was watching every window ill never forget that day HEY BUT ITS NOT MY FIRST!!! i remember 1 in 2005 Rochester mn also when i turned on the radio it was on Z.O.K which that was what your radio was on 0:23 which was someone from the talk show
I live a 1/2 mile from where it went through. I'm a trained weather spotter and this was the first time I actually headed for the basement. It got so loud I was yelling on the phone.
I moved to central NY state about 5 years back, no storms (well they call them storms) here at all, I don't miss the tornados, but the excitement I do... 5 years & only recently I got to see lightening from a storm... It is so funny, someone I know thought thunder was a earthquake, it wasn't even loud... I am wondering if I posted some footage on FB for Halloween if it would scare them...:D
StormSecurity89 I still have to put it al together, sorry for the delay. Its been hard to find the time lately cause of my regular full time job. Trying to make storm chasing my full time career :) Just juggling storm chasing, full time job & part time online selling job. Trying to actually make the extra cash to get a new storm chase vehicle put together. Not drive into a tornado type like the TIV but strong, reliable and new gear for chasing including new chase laptop, more cameras for more angles, live streaming and a secret storm/tornado camera penetrating system I am working on.
Cloud Chaser Understandble. I try to do spotting/chasing around here but working 3rd shift i need sleep and miss a lot :/ but I'm hoping i somehow manage to get some action this year. Its been quiet so far though aside from a few weeks agoa

I heard about the Tornado 3 DAYS BEFORE IT HAPPEND. The weather man said Clod mixture and warm and I said FUCKING TORNADO. And then they said tornado on Thursday. I was so disappointed.
it was a supercell tornado i know all about tornado supercells are storms that can make very deadly tornadoes also made from static capable of making lots of lighting

Please, to the maker of this video and to any other storm chaser living in NE Illinois, do not drive down Route 47 at night into a tornado warned cell. The road will get slick and you will drive right off. I am saying this because I was involved in this myself. Take Route 14 to Crystal Lake!!!
