    Good "hunting"! =)))
    It is a pity that the ringer missed his chance =)
    What distance?

  •  9 месяцев назад +6

    At what distance do they shoot?

      I want to know this too... 30 meters? 50 meters?

      Ok, I found out by looking it up at the link above - 30 meters

      @@SuperShuki Their scores are way low for the distance to be 30m. Byron Ferguson could shoot all 9's and 10's at 30 meters, and while he is an incredible trick shot and distance shot, he does not compete in tournaments as far as I know. Do a search here on RUclips for Bryon Ferguson Archery and watch some of his videos. He puts these guys to shame.

    Greetings
    What kind of bow has Matej? I have never seen a longbow like that before..

      I don't know how in Iceland, but in Russia we call a bow of this shape "northern" ...
      Judging by the appearance, the archer has a replica = imitation of a "historical" bow.
      It should be noted that the shooting is conducted with a "ring" grip of the bowstring, which is prohibited by WA rules at international competitions, but allowed at national.

      It is not a longbow, it is actually a homemade horse bow, I was still allowed to compete with it none the less.

      @@DK_1983 Dont think so, but this is more because it is meant more as a traditional archery rather than actually longbow. Besides having a horse bow against longbow doesnt actually give any advantage, the skill required and accuracy is still the same. Unlike barebow, as that one has higher speed and better accuracy.

      @@MatejCieslar Hi Matej. Impressive technique ! Do you actually shoot better with the thumb or did you do it for the extra challenge ?

    • @SuperShuki
      @SuperShuki 27 дней назад

      @@ramonpaellah6233 Those kinds of bows are shot with a thumb release. Look up 'horsebows'.
