It’s amazing all the old power when this was filmed. Many old units have been scrapped, or sold off on some shoreline. Especially those dash 8’s. I miss those days when they had many different models of locomotives. Not as many coals trains nowadays, I wouldn’t be surprised if in twenty years they will be gone. Great video Gregg, many memories were remembered by this video. Thank you. Cheers from Terry in cold Nebraska.
nice one Gregg, I like yard works, we learn a lot. Just one thing out of place in this yard, it is the Red end of a CN engine hahaha - one thing I would like to model is a small hump yard like that. I thik it would be fun to build
I always enjoyed going to the Spike and seeing all of the different engines and freight cars going over the hump. We are about 3 hours away from there. When you get back to Colorado, let me know. Always up for a road trip! LOL. Cheers Gregg Scottie
Thanks for watching Scottie! My guide and fellow RUclipsr, Bob, lives in Omaha, and we drove up for the day . Was a long drive but worth it for sure! I'd love to come back to Colorado one day , it is a beautiful place. Cheers Gregg.
Too true Adrain! They used to do a tour every year, but I imagine the safety nazi's put a stop to that ? It's a crime how little rail is used down here, though I think it is slowly improving...especially down south. Cheers Gregg.
Thank you for sharing. Very much enjoyed👍
My pleasure and thank you again for the support!
Gregg 🙂

Roma Street certainly had nothing on that place, Gregg. A very interesting video. Cheers👍
Yes Brett, not quiet the same size..LOL.
Thanks for having a gander Sir.
Gregg.
Been here done this.
Me too Art!
I would've loved to do a tour. If only our mob had invested in freight like the Yanks. Some old girls still doing their bit.
