The inspiration came from Charlie boy's "on my mama" years ago, which is sampled in this song. All the looks/clothes (baggy, jersey dresses), dance moves, etc, are inspired by hip hop in the early 2000s. Even the "jazzy" sound or trumpets are like HBCU bands, & the HBCU frat signature moves towards the end
Victoria is so talented. She’s best known for being a songwriter, writing hits for lots of big artists like Ariana Grande and Fifth Harmony. She’s also an AMAZING live performer. She can sing and dance at the same time very well
On 'Jaguar ll' she has a song with Earth, Wind & Fire, 'Hollywood' which features her baby daughter, Hazel. The song is nominated in the Traditional R &B Category at the Grammys. This makes her daughter who was around six months at the time the youngest person to be nominated for a Grammy. She's almost three years old now.
Victoria having 7 nominations this yr appears to have the best chance of winning. She is also the only artist in that category that has a nomination in any of the big 4 categories (Record of the Year). Shes also nominated for Best Engineered Album which is also a big deal, while her album producer is nominated for Producer of the Year solely based on his work with Victoria's album. Based on all the work she has been putting in for the past 10 yrs in the industry, she deserves to win I think.
Btw got a lot of if not all influence from black culture you can hear it in the music and see it in their dance breakdancing which originated in the Bronx ended up in their region of the world.
BTS video are inspired by black music videos so no surprise there. Also I like BTS but no one has swag and charisma like black artists in hip hop, r&b, crunk etc do.
BTS DID NOT COME FIRST! That is ERASURE! the entire video is BASED in early 2000s BLACK AMERICAN CULTURE music and dance. See “Soulja Boy”. And snap music! Please KNOW that CULTURAL THEFT is an issue. Thanks for the love BUT PLEASE KNOW THAT BTS IS A COPY OF NEW JACK SWING, R&B AND HIPHOP FROM US
Specifically Black American music not just "popular" music in general. They are great, can't deny, but her dancing influence and style from this video came from Southern black artists of the past. @@TouchyReactions
@@mykiamoto7145 precisely! Thank you for adding that comment. The kpop artists are talented, but there is absolutely nothing original about those groups. Most of those kpop groups hired Black choreographers to make them look good!

I’m so glad I stumbled across your channel. I instantly loved your energy! You two have to listen to Jaguar II and possibly react to it. 🤷🏽♂️👀👀

Oops. Thanks for the help 🙂.
Loved the reaction!! Please react to some ariana grande
If i had to suggest any ariana to listen and react to i'd suggest (Ariana grande My hair live vevo) or (Ariana grande best live vocals - newer one)

Yes, of course. The whole K pop scene was directly influenced by the popular music of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.
