Literally just today been looking for a review of this, thanks !
Now you found 1, hope you're subbed 👀
Luckily my 3 Steeldive watches and my Addiesdiver are perfect. Maybe I was lucky I know but ,like them or not, these are great watches .
Is it possible to fix the twisted dial? Cause I have the same problem but I can't give it back because I bought it used...
I like steel dive, to me the logo is fun and different to anything else out there that I'm aware of....great value generally....gutted to see that dial issue, had an eye on these for a wee while....⌚🏴⌚🏴
Another awesome review man!
I'm looking forward to buy the pagani design pd-1680 the grand seiko diver homage, or the Addiesdive H7 that looks like the marinemaster 300m. I wanted to ask if you could give me advice...
What throws me back is that they say that the light of the pagani is poor and that the problem with addiesdive or steeldive is that some say the dial and bezel are misaligned with the bracelet.
Could anyone advice me?
Anyway those watches can be used to dive?
Ciao
I bracciali adatti al Seiko sdx001 ( tipo strapcode Angus jubilee) sono perfetti anche per il mm300 steeldive?
Grazie
Great Review! Can you recommend Jubilee Bracelet or other Styles of Stainless Steel Bracelet to fit this Watch?
Top job as usual pal
Hi matey! Glad I stumbled on your channel!!!!! Great review! Do love the look of Steel Dives!!!!! Haven’t done a homage on the channel yet and this is a contender !!!
Hey man, yeh its all the rage these days, what with everyone looking at more affordable alternatives but don't actually want to go for the replicas.
@@TheWatcherReviews precioso reloj
esa marca de donde es?
es una replica o no ?
felicidades y un saludo !!!
Sir, it's a steeldive frenzy!!!! They just released a tudor BB homage and a bronze Panerai . Man it's going to be a good wait for all the reviews 😍🤯
How many millimeters are the watch buckles?
Nice watch, mate, and great review.👍🏾
Digging your reviews, very thorough.
Where did you get the glass back case of the black watch?
Thanks man, the case back is aftermarket. Think i found it on ebay, skx007 exhibition or glass caseback
@@TheWatcherReviews nice! Would the same work with the tuna models?
Can you put a link to which store from ali you get the replacement milled clasp? It would really be helpful. I cant seem to find a site that does.

@@TheWatcherReviews thanks so much.
You and I really differ on our bezel preference, that sounds ideal to me, really nice low pitched solid click
I just bought this watch but the black one. I’m really hyped up
Hope you can compare the different in construction between steel dive and proxima together.
Yes the review has already been done, just waiting to upload in a couple of days
Well the QC is really a problem especially for a someone that doesn't plan to have a big Watch collection or someone who is entering the watch world for the first time... It can really turn you off ... about the watch honestly i Don't like it ... I don't like them chunky even though i do have a big wrist but i prefer a thin case over this ( 13 or 14 mm is my limite ) that's the main reason why i don't like the marinemaster and the tuna ... Shame about the problems you had with this one but you did a really good job as always !! Keep it up
What do you think about Proxima homage hexecution?? Thanks
Very nice indeed
Nice review mate !
Is the lume perfectly even everywhere ?
I ve got the ADDIESDIVE version of SUMO : the lume is not even everywhere , hands are slightly less bright than indexes while the indexes and numerals from the bezel are less bright than the lume dial .
SD1996 and 1979 absolutely rock. I like much more the bezel movement on those than the ADDIESDIVE bezel
Plan to soon buy an MM300 homage , hard to choose between AD , SD or THORN. I have a PROXIMA version but I want one more.
SD over AD, yes the lume is brilliant on them
Great vid 👍
Love this model.. Do dont know what to chose Hulk or Batman ... Already have a black one..
Green or blue colour wicth better ?
This should have been a 22mm bracelet, if not a 24mm. Max diameter for a 20mm should be a 40mm dial.
Leaving aside the QC issue which model do you prefer - this 1968 or the 1971 in green ?
Tough call,i prefer the sd1971 due to the flawless case and I've had no QC issues with them so far (i usually order about 20-30 watches) from steeldive monthly. The sd1968 does actually look good and it is a hefty watch. I didn't like the bezel action too much but then again it maybe better on others
@@TheWatcherReviews yes I think so too. The 1971 in green is all sold out in the UK currently unfortunately, but I keep on checking the UK suppliers
I can get it in for you, i stopped getting them in because they didn't sell too well.
Send me an email and il check with supplier

@@TheWatcherReviews Thank you I will Email you 👍
Great review
The bezel sound has a nice crisp snap to it. I'm pretty sure that's not a fault as some of my much more expensive Swiss watches are the same. They also have a raised sapphire edge as this one does which is also not a fault. Nothing wrong with this piece at sll for the price.
This is what I’m after! Do you know if a dial intended to fit an SKX would fit this? I was gonna butcher an islander for modding but I like this case a lot more. Edit: I forgot this was a monocoque case....🤷🏼♂️
Was just going to say, but it can still be modded, just not this particular one, Proxima can be. I may do a vid
The Watcher I might actually be best off going the heimdallr route eh, I’ve pondered this for a bit....the skx clone. That was kind of my initial plan anyway, you just show us too many cool options 😉
@@dinner_workingsly yes , i wanted to mod the heindallr skx myself but you need a bench case opener as they over tighten their cases
The Watcher 👍🏼 thanks for the heads up!
Drop me a mail if you ever want to do any mods, il tell you what works. Nearly all seiko dials will fit all these seiko homages as seiko dial size is 28.5mm and the dial feet is a non issue as you can use double sided tape or adhesive the dial to movement holder. Marinemaster wise, proxima is the one to mod
Wow, was wondering if I should have paid more for Proxima... idk. Oops. Maybe it’s just that collar on the stem? If I was able to get the Proxima with sterile dial and non-red seconds hands is be more keen. @The Watcher I’d love a review of the Fifty Four MM300 homage with the ST2130 movement!
Theres no stem collar in these, just the proxima as far as I'm aware. Yes you should have gone proxima all the way. The gilt version is gorgeous
The bezel action sounds supreme
The QC is something I've noticed with Steeldive. They can be perfect, as my marine master 1975 was. With my Submariner the bezel is slightly misaligned (I can live with it). My Willard has a slightly off 6 o'clock marker and one side of the case is over polished losing the form a little. The thing is everything else is so good I wouldn't mind paying an extra 20 quid for them to just take a little more time.
I think thats why the other brands/competition charge a little bit more, the QC is slightly better, because it appears a lot of these companies are getting their watches, cases, and boxes from the same factory or source, but just have small differences added at the end, like the clasp, polish, and amount of lume, bezels, and logos. So steeldive seems to be the most affordable for some of the cost cuts they make. Which I still feel is a more than reasonable price. I got the San Martin mm homage. And now feel like I definitely overpaid. 100 extra for a better clasp and better polish, definitely paid more than I probably should have. The proxima and steeldive seem like the better option, especially now when they're offering more dial colors too. The only thing that san Martin had going.
@@gilbertoflores7397 I agree completely and at the price these are tiny flaws you hardly notice when wearing them. I love them because I can wear them day in day out without fear. extremely reliable. You can literally go out and hammer nails with these then buy another if you need to. At a third of the price of a seiko they're often as good....with higher spec. Churlish to complain about the odd mistake here and there. You more than get what you pay for.
@@neilba1 definitely. I plan on getting most of my next pick ups from Steeldive, the best priced ones, and they actually have a better name, or seems more like a watch brand name that you aren't obligated, or need to explain when people ask about it; It's simple but also fitting of a watch name. I just hope they come out with the samurai watches soon, proxima has the style of case in bronze already, I'd like it in stainles steel. But proxima, steeldive, San Martin, and Heimdallar are absolutely the best bang for your buck available.
@@gilbertoflores7397 They are.....probably one of the reasons Seiko are now going more and more premium...
@@neilba1 how are they going premium? They're making their watches worse and charging more for them. They have a new sarb replacement, worse movement and hardlex. Seiko is doing this to themselves.
How do you remove the stem on the Steeldive?
You don't. If it breaks, disassemble the movement to remove it
@@TheWatcherReviews Well that bites. And I just confirmed the 'collet' crown assembly from the Proxima mm300 will not work on the Steeldive case. The Steeldive tube is too narrow. Do you know of any other solution? Or do you have one shot to get the mod right?
You only get 1 shot as said Eminem in 8 mile. To be honest you shouldn't need to remove for a dial replacement, just pop off hands and dial and refit.
What do you think of the blue version of this watch, have you heard of any build or QC issues like the green? Also do they offer any option to have marinemaster on the dial? I know you can purchase without logo but would also like marinemaster on there or just the Automatic 300m.
The build issues haven't been identified as to what they were affecting, i don't know if it was due to bad parts or a particular assembler. Personally when it comes to a watch like this I prefer black or green and I think it doesn't come with marinemaster on dial
Thanks, think I'll go with black then to get the marinemaster on there.
Where did you order the dial for your mod?
I had a few spare dials from sterile steeldive watches that i have modded
I just received my first Steel Dive(MM300) and have a Green Willard on the way. I was hoping to mod the dial on the MM300, any suggestions on where I can source an MM300 dial to fit the NH35?
Any 28.3mm dial will fit
Thank you very much for your responses and all of your video posts.
Warning though, it isnt easy to mod so just be careful. The 1st one i opened, i snapped the crown stem without even knowing
WOW 🏆💯
Sorry about your thumb. Great review!
You and me both! Btw is was sacrificed in the heat of battle!
Steeldive/Addies, same Chinese watch ?
Great review tho 👍🏽
The dial misalignment is shocking.
It was incorrectly assembled, but they're shipped me out a new one since then and i returned the old one
Clap ali express is the 18 mm ?
Yes

The bezel is a 60 click on this model on most others it’s a 120.
17.5 is hench man 😅😅😅
Its more so on the crystal end, the body is the same as proxima, heimdallr etc
After you showed that dial, there’s no point in continuing or ever ordering a SD watch again. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. I’m shocked that they sent that out to a reviewer. It’s an embarrassment.
Wtf is the screaming in the background at 14:35 ish😬
Neighbours getting a loft extension done and that's where I record 👀 or it could be the Neighbours kids 😂
Great review mate
@@natelowry6674 nice one 👍
Sounds like somebody is whistling a tune
hate the clasp
please make your voice volume louder than the intro music. its annoying
There is a legal term for this unfortunate watch:-"Goods not of merchantable quality."
Exactly, but the return went through, postage returned and new watch on way
Crappy watch il stick with the seiko marinemaster. You gotta pay to play.
Tried to watch this video….terrible stuff. Just do the review. Why do you bring out pieces of another watch?
I bailed after 4 minutes. Couldn’t take it any longer.
