The beautiful thing about your videos is, that you could basically put them in a playlist and have an A-Z story because you always upload pointing to the next plot. Personally, I started with photography last August when I went to Taiwan for my exchange. Having a 40mm and 85mm prime might sometimes feel overwhelming. On some days I say, either one or none. It helps me to think about how to composite images without escapism in my mind, telling me: "Oh you still have another lens to use". Only works if you can play fair with yourself and not beat yourself up: "This shot would have worked with the other lens!".

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such thoughtful feedback. Always interested to hear about others shooting experience, it’s actually why I started the channel! I like to shoot on 50mm/85mm on the first leg of the photo walk, then head back the way I came shooting 35mm. Forces myself to have a different perspective of the same scenes. I did 2 weeks in Japan last year and I had my Nikon D5300 and I used a 18-200 and London with a D750 and 28-80. Covered everything I needed. Perfect sharpness, no but I got every shot I wanted. To me that is worth more that one prime and sharpness. I can go back but will never relive that same point in time. My .02 cover all your bases with some sort of zoom. Very true. Made a recent trip to Japan with a 16-35mm f/4 PZ, Sigma 35mm f2, 50mm f2 manual focus prime, Ricoh GR3 + 3X. I ended up using my good old reliable combo, the 16-35 and 35mm f2 the most. Eventually I only took the 35mm f/2 in case of low light but used a Ricoh GR3 and a rental 3X as my main cameras. I missed bringing my brand new Tamron 70-180 but I guess I will use it some other trip. There's too much gear and fumbling every day, paralyzed by choice every morning. Less is more. I'm going to try the Sigma 35 and 65mm pair next trip.

I considered those bags from that company but just didn’t like how small that top cover is on their designs. I bought a Think Tank Retrospect 5 twelve years ago and have tried probably tried 10 bags since then and just keep using that old bag instead to this day for a light setup. I’ve since bought a Think Tank sling about a year ago for a slightly heavier setup and it’s been great. But the last month I’ve kept amazon busy and want a small camera backpack for two cameras with lenses attached a Nikon ZF with 26mm 2.8and and OM5 with 17mm 1.2 equivalent 35mm. And a 75mm 1.8 equivalent 150mm equivalent m4/3 lens. A Fuji instax wide printer. Fuji instax wide camera. One flash. Two sets of batteries, carrying 3 each for the two systems. Portable battery charger. And that’s about it. We’ve been doing a lot more traveling around our state of Florida lately and a small backpack makes sense. Again it seems after so many tries with different companies Think Tank wins with the Retrospective 15 and that fantastic retro bag that doesn’t look like a camera bag.
