this is a very interesting tiebreaker. In the context of that (IMO) it is more mechanics favored more than the previous few tiebreakers which have been more techy (OOPARTS, I suppose RPG, and the extra judgement one in 2022).

Even though the tiebreaker is not like those in the past years, like the camellia ones, this is still a great tiebreaker and I look forward to more osu original songs/maps in future osu world cups! And although I love those techy tiebreakers form past years, I feel this is the best one so far because, imo the goal for a tiebreaker is to make players exceed their abilities in order to surpass the rival and become a owc champion!

I get that people don't like Tech TBs, but at the same time, this year i thought it would be something bigger than EXXTRA JUDGEMENT, yet it falls flat in comparison to previous year's TBs. Song is meh, (again, imo) map is... Hard, but that's expected. Still, imo multigenre > this
multigenre tb gets incredibly stale after a while, especially because everyone wants to be a camellia clone and nobody has done it correctly yet. seatrus' tb from last year was super underwhelming, both the song and the map, and this year we get a banger (music tastes are different) without all the sliderspam awkward aim but instead focusing on raw skill and mechanics - i think it's a pretty nice departure from the sort of stasis the tbs have been in for the past couple of years

When I noticed this was where the original songs' reveal sound motif came from I knew this owc was the best one so far
