Every time someone comes out as " I know this popular yet unseen by anyone internet guy who made an oopsie but they're really sorry I wish I could tell you" I immediately know it's them all along.
"osu lags if I connect to bancho" That was SUCH BS, I've played osu on a dual core system with a 1mbps connection and have never suffered "lag" while connected. Why is it that every time I read "cheating drama", China's somehow involved? Chinese players have even cheated on non badged tourneys, like WTF? Shame. Context for my rant: A Chinese team cheated during the "4Digit Mania World Cup" and got perma-banned from it IIRC, we faced said team (I was livid when I found out)
It's true, osu! lags when connection to bancho while playing but it's closer to losing few frames or a short freeze rather than whatever happened on the video
@@p0n-pompf osu casually drops a few frames every so often, not limited to connecting to bancho. I have like 2500 fps in this game and still can see slight lag spikes.
Nah, not when they are caught cheating more times than anyone else. Its a country filled with many bad apples and of course it is, that's communism in a nutshell.
Enforce required cameras on at all times during play and require all replays to be submitted after each session. You need to approach tournament play like Chess does when it comes to anti-cheating measures.
i dont play this game but SURELY layering the teams ontop of eachother is better than forcing spectators to try and look at 8 extremely fast pace games at once?
due to how the osu client work it's impossible to do so rn, but even if it's possible it's gonna be really hard to see if one player is poping of or not since if there's a miss it's gonna be difficult to see who miss the note, or if multiple players miss at the same note
That username readoff was the most awkwardly predictable string of names I could have thought of Especially "Joseph Joestar" jfc I feel called out by myself lol
damn, i can't believe there's such a sizable e-sports presence for a game that was based off elite beat agents, a relatively obscure DS title of all things
And in "most obvious twists of the century" Fushimi Ria was, in fact, Fia. I mean it's not even subtle they literally changed the username to an abbreviation of their _own username_ too.
The account dupe was a wild twist that suddenly makes sense of the avatar of both being the exact same picture, but highlighting the other character that's off-screen. This person *was wagging it around in front of everyone the entire time* and it took the biggest tournament to actually expose that.
Matching pfps is sth a lot of internet friends do so that's not exactly a gotcha. The fact that they share a social media account and Fia only talks through Fushimi was a dead giveaway though
Once you said it was a tournament about people representing their country I instantly knew you were going to say China. THeir gaming culture is beyond fucked because the Chinese don't view cheating as being bad. To them using any and all possible advantages is the way to play games. This is why most of the players who cheat tend to originate from China.
This is indeed the truth. But I believe that good gamers are definitely in the majority. The internal game environment in China is really a mess.I hope it gets better and better. Amen😓
Thanks Wilson for the Precept on The Brobdingnagian Skulduggery Impropriety in Osu!'s Annals i don't even care they cheated im just mad they will never make maps again
Not sure how relevent this is to the current game being discussed. I played against a player ranked in the top 50 in a state for the game Guitar Hero. At the time, I was somewhere between a low end Expert level player and the difficulty below that. What I found was they had practiced at such high speed that at lower speeds they were not as proficient as I was. I would have been destroyed at the highest difficulty no question.
The Rio = Fia thing was about as surprising as finding out that Clark Kent is Superman lol. Maybe it's the way it's presented in the video, but it seemed suspicious from the start.
Cheating is the only thing new gen gamers know how to do, it's sad. The osu community is toxic as hell though so what's a bit more drama but anything they desserve.

What I truly feel sad about is the fact that the rest of the Chinese team trusted each other. Seeing them winning gave them that “false hope” that their hard work is finally putting in good use. To find out this whole time you were carried by a cheater ? Must really make one hopeless.
I also feel bad about Italy and the UK, getting beaten by a cheater must’ve been a hard pill to swallow. I hope they get at least a chance to play again but I doubt it.

Fia and Fushimi Rio being the same person is like predicting a plot twist that i knew it was comimg
Fia is such a disappointment from our country
Things like this is exactly why games even chess require people to be on live webcam for any competitive setting and I believe OSU will eventually have similar requirements of a live hand cam at the very least an unfortunate circumstance for individuals who actually struggle due to computer speeds.
Still won’t detect someone shoving vibrating beads up where the Sun don’t shine
When you think about it, the best cheater in the game has yet to be caught 🤔
Imagine people back then were thinking Shroud was so good at PUBG, and he actually cheated
@@triparadox.c well he obviously didn't because he's playing at top level at every game he plays. It's much harder to cheat on 1 game than multiple games that has a strong anti cheat on.
that plottwist was insane
Kudos to Osu for not protecting cheaters unlike Activision in Warzone. 😂
I think OSU should make it mandatory to have cameras pointed at the players and their desks like every other eSport/game tournament. It would not only give more evidence but act as a deterrent as well.
10:30 true end to this whole "fia"sco
Fia's identity was obvious before the reveal, but glad it got confirmed.
Feels bad for the rest of them especialy Crystal, there are genuine og good player there but this incident and after that the situation in China is not so good the other consequence of this incident is also give legit offline player a bad name. At this point when I see a player boasting about their gain, goals or bla bla bla personal life I end up put them on red flag list before believe they are legit player.
Every time someone comes out as " I know this popular yet unseen by anyone internet guy who made an oopsie but they're really sorry I wish I could tell you" I immediately know it's them all along.
"osu lags if I connect to bancho"
That was SUCH BS, I've played osu on a dual core system with a 1mbps connection and have never suffered "lag" while connected.
Why is it that every time I read "cheating drama", China's somehow involved?
Chinese players have even cheated on non badged tourneys, like WTF?
Shame.
Context for my rant: A Chinese team cheated during the "4Digit Mania World Cup" and got perma-banned from it IIRC, we faced said team (I was livid when I found out)
Apparently other people have said their osu also lags when they connect to bancho, dunno the validity of those claims tho
@@Antside validity is almost none as i played on 12y potato before and somewhere in 2018 my fps doubled to 250 after multi threading came in.
Not even mentioning bancho itself requires close to no bandwidth, like even super slow internet under 1mbps should be enough

Don’t watch osu but Fia vs Fushimi Rio must’ve been crazy
Remember that we can't just say that an entire country is bad just because of 1 person
Fr
You could say it’s because of two persons, except they’re both the same person.
Nah, not when they are caught cheating more times than anyone else. Its a country filled with many bad apples and of course it is, that's communism in a nutshell.
I predicted the "this person is Fia" twist the moment it was stated Fia only communicated through them as a proxy.
There have been 2 Cheaters in Taiko World Cups before 2018 and 2020 which were caught and got restricted
playing on two different accounts during a tournament is crazy
Enforce required cameras on at all times during play and require all replays to be submitted after each session. You need to approach tournament play like Chess does when it comes to anti-cheating measures.
I dont know what the fuck this game is, but i like seeing cheaters get punished
i dont play this game but SURELY layering the teams ontop of eachother is better than forcing spectators to try and look at 8 extremely fast pace games at once?
due to how the osu client work it's impossible to do so rn, but even if it's possible it's gonna be really hard to see if one player is poping of or not since if there's a miss it's gonna be difficult to see who miss the note, or if multiple players miss at the same note
that would be impossible
I feel so bad for crystal and the other China members tbh.
the fushimi rio being fia thing is honestly so sad if I were them I’d end it all after that stinker dropped 😂😂😂

That username readoff was the most awkwardly predictable string of names I could have thought of
Especially "Joseph Joestar" jfc I feel called out by myself lol
I saw the title and m brain thought it was spaceUK related
damn, i can't believe there's such a sizable e-sports presence for a game that was based off elite beat agents, a relatively obscure DS title of all things
i've never played osu, but man i was never expecting this twist.
And in "most obvious twists of the century" Fushimi Ria was, in fact, Fia.
I mean it's not even subtle they literally changed the username to an abbreviation of their _own username_ too.
Rio. Not Ria.
Anyone who ever played an mmo can't be one bit surprised by the "plot twist" at the end
I don't know what an mmo is, but this happened irl, and I doubt whatever you're talking about is irl.

Fushimi Rio vs Fia in a tournament setting be kinda crazy lmao. Playing against yourself.
Playing against yourself funnily enough is probably a genuine way to see how much you improved. But in this setting yeah it's kinda nuts 😅
Oh my lord! This is such a well made video :o Thanks for putting the time in to make it!
Amen😓

I would have been destroyed at the highest difficulty no question.
i love how you picked forsaken as your intro
The Rio = Fia thing was about as surprising as finding out that Clark Kent is Superman lol. Maybe it's the way it's presented in the video, but it seemed suspicious from the start.

Cheating is the only thing new gen gamers know how to do, it's sad. The osu community is toxic as hell though so what's a bit more drama but anything they desserve.
the plot twist was crazy 😬
but i really cant imagine how someone manage to found out they are the same person
they used the exact same replay plays on both accounts. down to the millisecond same plays. so they either shared a computer or were just the same person, kept digging from there and they figured it out

idk why but I realized Fushimi being Fia the moment you said they only communicate through Fushimi. This is _such_ a common thing in the Chinese gaming/esports scene, it really is kinda sad to see how little Chinese teams care about competitive integrity.
Might be slight bias for lack of better word, but it seemed painfully obvious Fia didn't exist, based on only having seen this video and having no prior knowledge. Like stated in the video, the constant lack of being able to provide basic proof of replays and basic existence, as well as the matching profiles, seemed quite blatant no? Maybe I'm wrong and overthinking, but good video nonetheless !
