I've ordered several things from Garden Crossings and the plants have always been shipped secured and in excellent shape. Everyone is very helpful too.
Beautiful space as always. I’m looking forward to seeing the crema rose update. I’m reserving a spot in my garden for one of our garden centre carries it next year
Hello Heidi. I love movement in my garden. Is it possible for you to do a video on Ornamental Grasses & other plants that create movement in the garden. Thank you!
I do so enjoy these garden tours. I heard you say on this one that a couple of the hydrangeas you planted last fall. I have been holding off ordering because it is so hot right now in zone 8a that I figured fall would be best for a new plant to establish through the winter instead of the heat. Is that correct?
Wow, your Bobo’s look great… and big! I have 2 on their 3rd year and they do not look that good. I’m thinking about moving them to a different location.
Hello Heide, I live in Detroit zone 5 or 6b I believe. I love Hydrangeas and I have two in my garden that aren't doing well and I'm sure it's because of the sun. Can you recommend a Hydrangea that can stand sun most of the day that does not get very big preferably 4ft or under.
Hydrangeas can handle sun, they just need to be watered plenty. You could try Bobo, Firelight Tidbit, Invincibelle Wee White, Mini Mauvette, Limetta, or LIttle Lime Punch,
I planted 3 lime light primes and the one in the middle is floppy what can I do? I planted them this spring. Wasn’t sure if I should trim it back pretty hard in the spring.
Heidi, can the Arriba Hydrangea take Full sun? I was shocked that it was doing so well in the middle of the field. I'm in Indianapolis we're zone 5b -6a. Bigleaf hydrangea usually burns up in the full sun. Also, my last question is, does the Serreta Mountain hydrangea do better in full sun than the typical bigleaf hydrangea?
Were you, or proven winners affected by the soil problem with bad soil killing plants with residual pesticides in the batches? I hope not - I'm worrisome now everytime I get compost or soil for my yard....

Yes, if it is hot were you are Fall is actually a GREAT time to plant.

You can always give them a trim as well, that might help.

Great inspiration Heidi! Will the Kniphopfia/Red Hot Poker stay 3' x 2'6" or will it eventually need to be divided? Thank you.
It should stay pretty true to that size. I have never divided mine.
I planted 3 lime light primes and the one in the middle is floppy what can I do? I planted them this spring. Wasn’t sure if I should trim it back pretty hard in the spring.
Yes, you can trim them back and they should firm them up
Thank you I will do that early spring

The Arriba and Serreta both can handle full sun and do well. The key is watering enough.
@@gardencrossings thank you didn't know that.
Please tell me how to write the name of this plant min 04:00 and if it is perennial?
That is CERVEZA N' LIME® Plectranthus
@@gardencrossings Thanks a lot for the reply!
wish you would put up the names of each plant you show them , as sometimes its hard to hear the correct name.
Is there one you are questioning?
Were you, or proven winners affected by the soil problem with bad soil killing plants with residual pesticides in the batches? I hope not - I'm worrisome now everytime I get compost or soil for my yard....
No we have not had that issue. We have our soil specially made for us.
Oh I want those bit o honey!
Aren't they cute!
