"MONEY PLANT/ POTHOS : Grow and care guide". Money plant or Pothos is one of the most popular houseplant of the world. The care and maintenance requirements of this plant is very low, it purifies indoor air by absorbing the harmful VOCs present inside a home, it can grow in very low light also, it can be propagated very easily and is so versatile that instead of growing in soil, it can be grown in water as well. Pothos ki varieties par discussion apne aap mein ek achievement tha. Very beautiful plants.
1. Main yahan sand/bajri ke baare mein discuss karna chahunga. Jo silver gray river sand hoti hai wo zyada behtar hai ya coarse sand jisko bajri bolte hain, jo building construction mein use hoti hai ?
Kya bajri salty hoti hai river sand ke comparison mein ?
2. Agar pothos ya lucky bamboo ko paani mein grow karte hain to root rot kai baar dekhne ko milta hai jabki regularly paani change bhi kiya jaata hai. Kya Fungicide isme effective rahta hai ?
3. Kai log paani mein grow karte hue kuchh stones daal dete hain jar ke base mein. Dekha gaya hai ki pothos usko different ways mein react karta hai, kabhi growth boost ho jaati hai to kabhi nahi chal paata.

Thanks for sharing your views. Here is the answer to your query.
1. Any coarse sand taken out of a river can be used. Bajri is not salty in nature, but should not be contaminated with lime stone or rock salt.
2. Anything which is wet all the time is prone to fungal infection. Water temperature may also sometimes elevate this situation. Chemical treatment may not solve the problem.
3. Adding stone at the base has nothing to do with growth of plants. It simply improves the stability of the jar.

Nice video. I have to money plant of same type but one has node at small interval and other has node at long interval, can you tell me what could be the reason for such difference?
The reason for that difference is tissue culture. The plant that has nodes at small interval is grown by tissue culture. Such plants remain compact and bushy naturally.

Soil may be soggy. Repot your plant in a fresh and well drained potting mix. Water only when the soil gets dried completely.

I am facing problem with my money plant. It's on the moss stick ... It was nice and bushy earlier but last few weeks it's leaves are turning yello and black from the tips and spreading to the full leaf. It has become scanty also. Have placed it in my living room .

Sir pl explain about the male and female flowers of musk melon asap. I have grown this plant in my garden in a pot, so for pollination to occur, I am not able to differentiate between male and female flowers
Male melon flowers will have a stamen, which is a pollen covered stalk that sticks up in the center of the flower. Female flowers will have a sticky knob, called a stigma, inside the flower (that the pollen will stick to) and the female flower will also sit on top of an immature, tiny melon. You need at least one male and one female flower for hand pollinating melon plants.
