    2003 Western Conference First Round Game 3, April 24, 2003 | The Lakers and Timberwolves battle it out after splitting the first two games of the series in Minnesota. KG was dominant, scoring 33 points with 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Kobe didn't have a good shooting night but contributed with 30-7-6 including a clutch four-point play late in the game to cut the Minnesota lead from 5 to 1. Despite Garnett fouling out at the beginning of overtime, the Timberwolves were able to pull out the win and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

      Getachew Bo I have actually thanks for asking, but what do they have to do with my comment saying they're two OF the greatest at their position?
      Both Kobe & KG are arguably the 2nd all time in their position.

    Garnett was the best player in league this year...Mind blowing KGs starting lineup is Rasho, himself, Wally, Peller, and Husdson yet KG is still competing with that team.

    4:14 is what hakeem used to and what hakeem taught KG. When you post-up,as soon as the ball reaches your hand you either go spin fadeway or spin and drive to basket.

    • @Theterminato2013
      @Theterminato2013 Год назад +1

      Kobe had great shot creation but couldn’t reliably palm the ball like MJ could. Why MJ was more naturally talented and a relentless worker, Kobe had to maximize and work harder on his craft more due to his more limited talented to increase his skill set.

      For those that say shaq carried kobe your statement is so true kobe saved shaq many times. The 2000 series against Portland. The 01 series against the kings and spurs. 02 series against the kings again . Sure kobe needed shaq but shaq absolutely needed kobe.

      As one of the biggest Kobe & Shaq fans, Kobe would not approve of you guys downplaying how well Shaq played during the 3peat. And if I remember correctly, Shaq put up 34 points & 23 rebounds the next game while Kobe struggled shooting 7/25. Kobe did outplayed Shaq tho in games 5 & 6. At the end of the day, both of them needed each other.

      @@joshromero-burgan9860 Of course Shaq’s going to shoot majority of his shots in the paint. That’s what old school centers do like Hakeem Olajuwon, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, & Wilt Chaimberlain. What you expect them to do? Shoot 3s like Jokic? LMAO.

      I'm hoping Melo picks them here in the next few days, but even if he doesn't end up with the Lakers they can still go after great players like Isiah Thomas and Lance Stephenson. If they hire the right coach and do well in free agency, I definitely see them back in the playoffs. I think they did great in the draft with Randle and Kobe of course has to come back and be himself.

      and what if westbrook gets injured or tim duncan... like if one 8th seed team can eliminate the big dogs in the west (GSW,LAC,SAS,OKC it gives teams like the rockets, the blazers, or even the mavericks a serious shot. think about round one spurs vs mavs... if mavs won game 7 the miami heat would be celebrating their three peat because we all know okc offense (no disrespect) is all kevin durant and russel westbrook. if lakers can make 5-6 seed and big dogs are out i can estimate semis or wcf (with melo) and possibly the nba finals to compete agains the heat, pacers, nets, or possibly bulls.
