Nice video! Love Pontiac's! You CALIFORNIA stopped at that stop sigh at the beginning of the video, lol. 😂 Their was a 1970ish Black Pontiac Firdbird for sale. Like around 39:35 of the video. You didn't stay on the spec sheet and window sheet long enough to get a phone and price.???
Hey I spent 15 years living in Los Angeles so… I get a pass. For the firebird, do a search for Pontiac Nationals. There are a few other videos where they stayed on the corral a bit longer (I think Sunbird Garage was one).
Thank you so much! It can be work, but I honestly do it because I love that event... and I would want to see something like this if I couldn't make it. And next year, I'll finally get to have my car there for the first time!
Nice coverage on the GP's! LOVE Grand Prix's! Such rare beauties they are.............What a great turn out, awesome venue, and looked like an awesome time!
It is, isn't it?! I was looking for it (and you.) I saw you two drive off Saturday afternoon, but I'm old and fat and couldn't catch up... maybe next year.
You should check out pontiacs in pigeon forge as well. Its pretty big pontiac show and you arent to far away. Very cool rides at this one. Love the 421 sd cars. One car I didnt see there is one my dad had. I figured id share. He had a 74 ventura sprint 350/350 car. Pretty rare. Similar to that 74 gto drag racing but not as common. Ive only seen one other sprint in person it was a 73.
Yeah, I've heard of the Pigeon Forge show! Definitely need to check it out. In fact, I think I might've been there visiting just after the show ended and found out I had just missed it. And I didn't see a '74 (but I was only there on Saturday!)
@@Rustrevivalgarage there was a 74 gto racing. Sprint was like the poor mans gto basically. Not alot of them. I miss that thing. I also had a 79 grand prix and a 95. Pontiac and olds are like our second picks behind buicks.
great video i know how much work it is to walk a whole show filming everything and posting it , my buddy dale aka stripping gears does it here in michigan , great show the misses and i intend on making it down to nationals someday when i finish my 67 gto build
I looked for ya! Figured you might be around the track but didn't see you (and two others I was looking for!) Ah, well. I'll get my contact info to you next year :)
@@Rustrevivalgarage next year for sure. i was wearing a media vest so i blended in with others too. i would say look for the plaid shorts, gasser bros or classical gas shirts but you know lol
Oh, it's such a great event! You could probably build a car out of the swap meet... maybe two. And seeing mostly Pontiacs racing, up close and personal, is really cool. I would recommend it to anyone.
Sad but price are falling fast insurance companies want a arm and a leg for insurance. Takes a lot to maintain and finding parts are hell unless you order online but there are no local junkyards . Have 1964 Grand Prix but they aren’t worth a lot unless it’s a 421 package.
Great to meet you!
You, too! Have a safe trip back… and get some rest!
Nice video, it was great to meet you. We are glad you liked our 64 GTO 21:09
Thanks! Yes, I really did like it! Works in progress are always so much more interesting than the finished car :)
Nice video! Love Pontiac's!

Thanks for the video brother nothing like a PONTIAC......love the 67-69 Firebirds
There were quite a few there! Got as many as I could (even a few racing) And you're welcome!

They are beauties! Yeah so much fun to cover this event - eye candy wherever I look! Thanks for watching!
Could be my friend's white '66 convertible at 19:28 Hope he had a chance to take it up there and enjoy it some!
That would be cool! Have him check it out!
my first car was a 1969 2+2, my second was a 1974 Lemans sport , and my third was a 1979 Trans Am.
This was my 20th years attending the car show. Thanks for sharing these beautiful cars.
You're welcome and it was a total pleasure for me! And, hopefully, you'll see my LeMans there next year!
Great video of my Blue 69 GTO with the flames! Awesome you got that great wheelie of me! thanks, Dave
Glad I was able to capture it! Thanks for watching!

Thank you for showing the OHC6 corral-I dream of replacing my long gone '68 Veldoro Green Firebird Sprint convertible one day-great video!
You’re welcome! I wanted to get as much as I could for everyone! And good luck!

Thanks ! And like I said in the video - get it driveable and take it! Don’t wait for it to be finished (because they’re never really finished 😂)
What a great show, jealous! Glad it wasn’t 90 out too.
600-700 Pontiacs is always a good day!
I missed seeing you out there. The pink bird was at the bed and breakfast i was staying at.

@@skipsdarkhollowgarage8695 Totally worth it... and (fingers crossed) I'll finally have a car there!
Why in the world do you cut the video when they are about to show the quarter mile time!?
I have a OHC6 for sale 4bbl here in south Florida
I see my two solstices

I’m finding all that out as I restore my ‘68 LeMans. Thanks for watching!
Stopped right before my car then started up right after my car!!
Annoying!!😢
Sorry about that!
