In that WCBS Newsradio 88 commercial, they really liked to compare it to 1010 WINS the fact that it had more fast-paced noise along with repetitive headlines while WCBS had much better background music and not repetitive headlines. This was back when they were still under separate owners - CBS (now part of Paramount) owned WCBS while Westinghouse owned WINS. It would be another three years before CBS and Westinghouse merged, thus making WCBS and WINS sister stations. CBS later sold their radio stations, including WCBS and WINS, to Entercom, which became Audacy in 2021, which still owns both stations.

@@Virtuacade I think that the WPIX transmitter is still at the Empire State Building since 9/11/01 while most of the other NYC TV stations have moved their transmitters to the new World Trade Center. All of the NYC TV stations did broadcast from the old World Trade Center prior to 9/11/01. And we all know what happened to the old World Trade Center on 9/11/01
Do you have a sudafed commercial from 1992 where it shows a woman getting into her car, later near the end, she sees a semi truck and like panics and swerves?
Hey Aiden sorry I don't have Nickelodeon commercials from 2011 besides im not gonna do 2010s stuff because I don't consider the 2010s to be considered retro. Here I post stuff like from mid 2000s and anything before that mostly 90s, 80s & 70s stuff. Although I did have a tape of Nickelodeon commercials from 2000 I believe but the tape is in such horrible quality it's not even watchable so I'm considering not going to bother with that.
It's just my opinion, I was born in the 90s and anything from mid 2000s and before feels nostalgic and commercials in my opinion in those times were fun to watch and each commercial felt different from the others. To me its like watching a mini movie to me. In 2010 I stop watching TV because I had no interest in it and commercials especially these days aren't as good, they are all the same and it's not what it used to and I don't feel anything for it is just repetitive, again it's just a personal preference.
Was that Michael Douglas's voice in the first commercial and again at 2:22?🗣🤔📺🚗
Yes!
There's my PIX 11
