Shocked that you said the Grand Canyon was ‘boring’. Did you actually see the canyon??

      Apparently not.

No they just used the front facing camera on their cell phones and made videos the whole time.. these two are extremely boring people. They only know the basic most visited areas of these places also.. they don't know different ways that the locals know.. But yes I don't feel like they wanted to be doing any of this.. they do it so they can try to get views. They just don't realize they are horrible at it.

Stunning shots!! Ya did very well!! Traveling ain’t a joke..expensive and can be very exhausting with time zones..and so many little things can ruin your whole stay and itinerary!! Be flexible and ignore the negativity and unexpected stuff..Enjoy and make the best of everything!!

Just imagine what it was like when the area wasn't colonized.....

Red Rock isn't a National Park. It is just a conservation area.

Wife is very beautiful! 😲 I have been to Yosemite, I live in the "San Francisco Bay Area" (grew up here), Yosemite is amazing! To me the best time is to go in spring or winter because it will be too cold for the mosquitos 🙂 Also I suggest public transit because the parking seems like it would be really hard...from San Jose, you take a train to Merced, and then you take the Yosemite Area Transportation System (yarts) bus to the park! 🙂
Did you know that in 1983, Queen Elizabeth II stayed at the Ahwahnee hotel in the park? The cheapest room there is 500/night and I think hers is 800/night. There's an even more opulent room called the Presidential Suite, where JFK ("we choose to go to the moon and do the other things not because they are easy, but because they are hard...") stayed when he was a Senator. That one has a library and stuff, it's like 1200/night or something like that. Unlike the Yosemite Valley Lodge, Ahwahnee is air conditioned. But more expensive. 🙂

Wife here, thank you for the lovely compliment. We never knew you could get to Yosemite that way from San Jose. We almost ended up living there when we was originally moving to the Bay Area.
And thanks for sharing that info, very interesting!

The best time to go to Yosemite is in late March or early April going into May. It's usually not hot in the valley, mosquitos aren't nearly as bad, and the waterfalls are thunderous! My husband and I (we lived in the San Francisco area) would come to Yosemite once a month for around 20 years. However, we moved to Hawaii in 2016 and haven't been back to Yosemite since 2014. I know it's gotten a lot more crowded but it's still pretty amazing. Are you planning on climbing Half Dome? If not....put it on your to-do list but only in the spring.
BTW: what Ant was calling "a lake" in the valley is actually the Merced River. It only looks like a lake since the river is so broad!
I agree with Ant about the Grand Canyon - I've been there three times and each time I was wishing I was somewhere else - it's nice, but that's it. I think you'll love the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone for different reasons. The Tetons are spectacular mountains and wonderful lakes. Yellowstone (right next door to the Tetons) is famous for its thermal pools and geysers, plus the abundance of wildlife! Glacier National Park, on the Montana/Alberta Canada border should also be on your list of parks to visit - spectacular scenery with mountains and lakes. Wildlife everywhere! Some really amazing hikes and mountain bike trails.
If you get a chance, come to Hawaii and explore our national parks. Volcanos National Park (on the Big Island of Hawaii) is amazing and very unique. Spend the extra money to stay at the Volcano House Hotel inside the park. Get us early in the morning and hike down into the caldera of Kilauea Volcano and see a really different type of park! The landscape in Volcanos ranges from rainforest to lava desert but there's lots of critters to see.
Hawaii is famous for its snorkeling - you don't need to be a strong swimmer to enjoy snorkeling. Wear goggles and a snorkel, maybe add some fins, and jump into the water from a boat (or even try shore snorkeling). It's refreshing and you'll see all kinds of fish who just view you as a big fish!!
Have fun exploring more about the country you've chosen to live in. And keep putting up your vlogs.

came because I heard there was one person on this planet who found the Grand Canyon boring and of course I didn't believe it and had to see for myself

Haha! For some reason Ant was not that impressed by the grand canyon. Interestingly since he said that I have found other (mainly men) that also do not find it that interesting.

This video is absolutely terrible.. two quick shots of the far distance that could have been a million times better.. basically only filmed themselves for some reason? 🤦‍♂️😂 Don't know why they would think that people would want to see them when they are at a national park. I watched a few of their other videos before when people were reacting to them and it was pretty much the same boring stuff.

Easy fix, you do not have to watch. Appreciate our videos are not for everyone.
